Kelsie
spotted Craig sitting in his usual seat, next to another
nerd in this class. The girl he was sitting next to was
driving Kelsie into insanity with all her flirtious moves
she was trying against Craig. However, he wasn't really
falling for it. He just chuckled and gave her an uneasy
smile to let her know he really wasn't interested. As
the bell rang and teacher Mr.Luck closed the door, letting
all the late students smash their heads against the door,
he smiled brightly towads the class. Kelsie stood in her
seat, repeating the words she was going to say to Craig
when they would be assigned to work on the project. It
wasn't easy having to speak to the hottest jock of the
school.
''Welcome students I really hate.'' He
sighed, trying to keep his smile which made everyone in the
class break into laughter. Even Kelsie who was feeling in
stress let out small chuckles. Mr.Luck raised his hands,
making the class's laughter fade away slowly,
''I already assigned your partners so, today will
only be a work period. Now, move along.''
After those words, the classroom broke into chattering,
students getting up to assemble with their partners. Only
Kelsie sat there looking into a blankness. She didn't
want to do this, but she had to. It's what she needed
to do to be with the one she truly loved since a long time.
She wouldn't let Rein take him away from her, even if
they were best friends.
''You alright?'' The voice of Craig made
her look up into his gorgeous eyes she would always get
lost in.
She shook her head, regaining conscious. ''Yes,
I'm fine.'' She cleared her throat, giving him
a smile, ''Yea, we better start now.''
''Ok.'' He mumbled quietly, taking the
empty space next to her. He opened up his bag, taking out
the binder filled with papers and notes about Biology which
surprised Kelsie at how much he would be interested in
Biology. Even she didn't have that much notes. Seeing
her grimace, he chuckled, ''Biology is one of my
favorite subjects.''
''I can definitely see that.'' She
whispered under her breath and then took out her small
binder, comparing the size of both.
''Ready?''
''Wait, Craig.'' She said, turning her body
to face him. This was it. It was no turn back. Go big or go
home right? ''What's up with you and
Rein?''
The sudden lighting up of his face made her face transform
into a bemused expression. He really did enjoy Rein's
company as much as Kelsie and Matthew did. This was utterly
ridiculous. He didn't even know her that well. He knew
Kelsie longer than he knew Rein and he's just using her
because he broke up with his girlfriend. Kelsie had to hide
her hands because they were clenched into fists with all
the rage boiling through her blood.
''You mean your best friend? We're
umm....'' Craig thought two times before letting
something come out of his mouth. Telling someone about his
relationship with Rein and end up saying their just friends
would bring his reputation a lot deeper. He was Craig, the
one who could get any girl and with the secureness of Rein,
he didn't feel right saying they were just Rein. That
would seem as if he got rejected which is why he had to
force the next words out of his mouth, ''We're
dating.''
