One day I was watchng this
lifetime movie called "Prayers For Bobby" and it
was about a boy named Bobby who was homosexual but his parents
wouldnt accept him for who he was. He didn't choose or want
to be this way, so his parents tried to help him so he could get
back to being a heterosexual. They tried using a psychiatrist,
going to church everyday, and reminding him that being gay was a
sin. But Bobby couldn't change who he was no matter what his
parents did. He was still homosexual and he culdn't change
that, but his parents still didnt accept him. So he eventually
got tired of his parents trying to make him "normal" so
he made them choose if they would accept him for who he was or
they would not have a son at all. They decided that they
didn't want a gay son, so he after realzing that they
didn't want him for he he was, he committed suicide.
We have to realize that we can't change people for who they
really are, and we shouldn't judge them or become ignorantt
of the situation. I support equal rights for everyone especially
homosexuals. Rest in Paradise Bobby. You're in my
prayers.
