I have to read 2 books over the summer, write down 10 quotes from the book and write a paragraph about what the quote means to me for all 20 and then write a 2 paged, double spaced memoir about myself. Honors English bro

I just cringed. That is ridiculous. Summer is supposed to be a VACATION from school. Time to rest and refresh. I mean, reading ONE book and being prepared to discuss when you get back is reasonable, but all that?! It's BULLSH-T.

Idek why I'm doing honors English. To be honest here im not even sure how I got in, because last year I just went through this like 2 month period where I like basically did nothing in English except answer questions, read and doodle in my notebook and somehow I had like a 90 that whole time. I have no clue what I passed with. and now im going into 9th grade with honors English. Doodling ftw

In some cases, doodling helps you become more attentive or something.
I'm so upset I'm not in honors English. I got 90s and 100s on all my tests and did all my work. Like what?

Im so piissed Im not in XL math. Like sure I would probably barely pass the class but you know what I don't care. Honors English and Honors Global studies, then the like excelled art class and ya. Im cool bro ;)

What's XL math?
I wish I was in honors history (I think that's what global studies is). I'm in the above average class, but it's full of idiots. Like someone thought Israel was in South America & London was a county, a girl asked if Joseph Stalin was communist (after learning about COMMUNIST Russia), etc. like, I got a 100 on my history final. I shouldn't have to deal with these people next year, too

accelerated math. But to shorten it up we just call it XL. But I feel you, other than art and accelerated math there were no honors courses in the middle school. My, acquaintance, Im not calling her a friend because shes cool but shes so stupid it physically hurts my head, Valentia thought Germany was in Pennsylvania. We're sitting there learning about the holocaust and shes like "Wait, isn't Germany near Pennsylvania, isn't it like a city." and I legit asked to move my seat. I couldn't even handle it.
