Put the elderly in prision.
We should put the elderly in prisions because they will get a shower every day, video surveillance in case of problems, three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym, doctors on-site and free medication if needed.
Put criminals in nursing homes and they'll get cold meals, lights off at 7pm, two showers a week, live in smaller rooms and pay $4,000 in rent every month.
It's pretty sad that we treat prisioners better than the elderly.

we had an inmate come talk at our school earlier this year. One of the things he told us was that they have regulars in jail, people who commit minor crimes when they are released because the conditions in jail are better than being homeless. I found that really sad.
