One day, I was talking to someone really religious and we were talking
about our views on gay marriage. The person said, "Gay people aren't allowed to get married because, in the eyes of the church, marriage is meant for people to have children." Then, I asked why people why women who were unfertile and therefore couldn't have kids could get married and the person was like, "Uhhhh". I don't know what came over me, I just literally yelled "SWERVE!" at her and then I got in trouble.

I'm agnostic. Sometimes, I just wish religion was never invented. I mean, imagine how much more peaceful the world would be, how many less arguments, homophobia, sexism, etc. I do think religion is great, especially since a lot of people, including all of my friends and family, know its brings strength, guidance, and hope into their world. But it's frustrating when no one will get my point of view. just thoughts, sorry.

I'm baptist and i have absolutely no problem with gay marriage. I don't think God does either. But God probably has a problem with people criticizing his children.

I'm Catholic and I believe in gay marriage. Actually a lot of religious kids do. Everyone deserves equality. Plus, God created all people and loves all people. We should be the same and shouldn't cast out gays... that's not what God wants.

The Bible says that God loves everyone equally. I think some people who are homophobic and use the excuse "The Bible says it's wrong" need to also realize that God loves everyone equally. Plus, if we listened to everything the Bible said, we'd still be spanking kids and not cutting our hair

See people who do that stuff annoy me. I'm a Christian and I have a strong faith in my religion, but people who are religious and say that stuff give everyone in the same faith a horrible impression.

Exactly. I'm Christian, too, and everyone thinks I'm homophobic and stuff just because of some people.

Yeah exactly. I don't support gay marriage, but I'm not against it. I'm not going to throw the Bible in people's faces. Be cause as a Christian I'm called to love others not judge them.
