People only care about Amanda Todd because she was gorgeous.
She did something really wrong and if someone else had done it i guarantee she would be saying the same things to them that were said to her.

You couldn't even see her face in the video. I don't even know what she looks like if there were other pictures of her. I care about her because she was another person who killed herself, not because she was "gorgeous" that is the most ignorant thing I've heard. You guarantee she'd be saying the same things that were said to her? I'm sorry, did you know her? Or are you just making a huge judgmental assumption? Yeah, she messed up. We all make mistakes. We've all been there, and if you haven't been in a situation where everything just keeps going down hill, you will be one day. Things go wrong, people make mistakes. "Witty girls" are suppose to understand that, isn't that what we're all always preaching about on here?

That's not why everyone knows and is interested in Amanda Todd's story. People are talking about it because it is the perfect example as to why bullying is wrong and should stop. It's used as an example to people that are bullies that words hurt more than they know. She's not getting more acknowledgment than anyone else or respect, she was just bullied to the worst extent possible.

Exactly. Thank you. I'm tired of people saying that "she got what she deserved" on here, girls are getting mad because her story has become well-known. It's well-known because she made a video on youtube, because she went through a lot. Her story isn't any different than anyone elses, it's just more public, and there is nothing wrong with that. Her death isn't any sadder than anyone else's, it's not anymore important. Her suicide is representing so many other peoples' suicides.
