Oh How I Wish...
Chapter 76
(A One Direction Fan-fiction)
Whenever
anybody hears the name "Rosie McDonald" in the town
where she used to live, brings up the memory of a girl, who hung
herself. She made a video, her suicide note, of the last good
week, probably the best week of her life, when she met Harry
Styles. After that *click* of her remote went off, Rosie stood on
a chair, and tied a rope around her neck, then around the celing
fan, then she stepped off the chair. And she was gone, just like
that. Her twin sisters Nicole found her, ran and got her family.
They were in total shock, no idea of how this could have
happened. The police were called, they discovered all her
secrets. Her secret room, her diaries, her video. It all bacome
clear soon enough. There were news reports on Rosie, she was in
the papers, her suicide video went viral and a funeral was set up
for four days after her death. Everybody who knew Rosie, even
some who didn't went, and for a hour or two, they shared
thier grief with others who cared, and others who really
didn't, because that's what people do. They pretend to
care, just to make others feel like they aren't worthless.
After it was over, everybody moved on, went on about their lifes.
People went to school, work, did housework and soon, Rosie
McDonald was just a memory...to most, but not all. Rosie's
family was there, her sisters and parents. Only six months after
the funeral, they moved upstate. They needed to escape her, they
just didn't know any other way. They packed up and left,
attempting to leave Rosie behind. They changed thier last name to
Brown, Rosie's mother's maden name. Her sisters and
parents made new friends and whenever asked, her parents would
say that they had three daughters, Emma, Nicole and Analise. They
never heard the name Rosie Mcdonald again. Her bestfriend Jill
was at Rosie's funeral. She took it pretty hard. Jill fell
into a depression, and I'm sure her breakup with Niall Horan
didn't help. Just a few short months after Rosie's death,
they split due to distance. Luckally, Robby never left Jill's
side. Weirdly enough. they ended up together, then married, then
had an amazing boy named Andrew. Even as they grew old, Robby and
Jill were bestfriends, but Jill always knew that their friendship
wouldn't never compare to her's and Rosie's. The
members of One Direction were at Rosie's funeral too. A
couple of weeks after the funeral, they released a hit single
called, "Moments" about a girl who commits suicide.
Whenever they preformed it, nobody dared throw anything on stage,
or none of the boys dared messed around, especially Harry. One
Direction moved on. The went on do to great things. Harry, oh
lord. Harry Styles never shead one tear over Rosie, at least, not
in public. Sometimes, when alone, Rosie could see from above a
few tears, she would tell him not to cry. He would listen and
stop crying. He plastered a fake smile on his face for as long as
One Direction, was, One Direction. Evenually, they split and
moved on, all got married and settled down, including Harry. He
settled down with a sweet girl named Isabella. They had a
beautiful girl names Skye. Eventually, she grew up and moved on,
so Harry and Isabella grew old together. They were living in New
York City from as soon as One Direction split. Everday, Harry
would go to "the store" or "out for a stroll"
but really, we went to a cemetary, about 20 minutes away.
Everyday, he would visit Rosie's grave. He would usually just
put his hands together, look down at the grave, then leave. One
day was different, it was Rosie's birthday. She would have
been 82, he was 84. He walked over to Rosie's grave, carrying
one single, beautiful red rose. He placed down the flower and
said, "Happy Birthday Rosie, I wish we could spend it
together." he sat down next to the grave and continued.
"I never really got the chance to tell you I was sorry. I
should have never stop calling or texting. You were the one thing
that I loved with all my heart, and I let you slip away." He
was scilent for a few minutes. He put his hand on the grave and
started to tear. "Why couldn't I go, you couldn't
you stay here and be happy, I was never happy without you."
he whispered. He layed down, closed his eyes and said, "Oh
how I wish, that was me.".
Harry Styles' eyes never opened again.

i loved the story! i really wish that she and harry would live together and get married and be happy forever. u made me cry.its so sad that she would do that:( this is the best story on witty and hope that you keep on writing!

You know it's hard to make people cry by reading a story that's made up, so congrats. You made me bawl. It was amazing and a completely different outcome then i thought it would be. I could not believe you killed her off but you did an amazon job with it.

Just adding one thing... don't think that just because I was crying that I didn't LOVE this story OR the ending. I think the way you ended it WAS VERY SAD but also VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

I am literally crying after reading that! It's so sad, but so sweet. The only thing making me not super sad is picturing Harry Styles as an old man!
