For the record, a lot can change in a year. Instead of complaining, why not act like the Witty you want to see(: There are a lot of amazing girls on here that a lot of people don't recognize. It's just gonna take some time and teamwork.

Okay, first of all. This is not my first account. I joined in 2011 at age 16, I believe. Peope can miss the old Witty, the Witty that they joined. Quit acting like the Witty hipster. lol. Second. People can post whatever they want. That's the beauty of Witty. Third. Top quotes are top quotes because people like them. Fourth. lol @ 13 year olds dissing on 12 year olds. And finally, Yes, I am hating on this quote.

I've been here since 2011 but even then Witty was a lot different. I mean don't get me wrong I love One Direction but the quotes are getting old. I don't post any 1D stuff here; that's why I have tumblr and twitter. So, in ways I agree with you; but the part that I disagree with is that you're basically saying "You don't even know what the old Witty was like so stop saying you miss it." Old does not necessarily mean years and years ago, it is a synonym of former which means previous; and previous can be any time in the past. And if people do say that they miss it and joined not too long ago, just let it be and don't let it bother you. Lots of stuff can happen in a year.

AMEN! I've had an account since summer of 2005. This is my new account, I've had many others. Witty has gone so far down hill that its hard for me to enjoy it anymore.

I'm not here to hate, and I know I wasn't around for the old Witty, but just like people change, things change, and everything happens for a reason so maybe this change was for a reason. and you can't say all the good has been driven away because that's no where near true. Yes, there are still bullies, but that's society. Witty became popular. You just have to find the 99.999% of the site that is good, that need help, want someone to put a smile back on their face, that make quotes genuinely to make quotes, not for faves. And just because they all like One Direction and fave those quotes doesn't make them bad people. Just because we are 12 and 13 doesn't make us too young for this site. I'm 13, but I needed this site when I was 12. Maybe obsessing about 1D is their way of escaping the bullying/problems in their real life. 12 or not, 13 or not, it happens. Now I'm not saying leave, I don't think anyone should be pushed to the point that you have to leave on WITTY. What happened to us all being sisters? Brothers? FAMILY. OHANA. Ohana means family. Family means no one left behind. So why are we bullying? I don't know and you make a really good point that Witty has changed. I've been on here for a year this summer, but even then I didn't see as much hate and bullying. I realize you miss the way the site was before, but change can be for the better, even if it seems worse. Think of it this way: this change is the rain. But everything happens for a reason, so the rainbow is on it's way. Something good will come of this. Maybe it will be the end of bullying. Maybe it will be something small but will bring Witty sisters/brothers closer than ever. Maybe it will happen this week. Maybe it will happen years from now. It could happen when we're all adults telling our kids about Witty. Either way, something good WILL come of this change at some point. thanks to any user who read this, I didn't realize how long it was getting.

I've only been here since 2010 and sure, things always change, but I guess you're right.. I don't think I can understand what exactly you're missing since I haven't even been a member back then, but I can say for sure, that even in those 2 years, a lot changed on wittyprofiles. And yes, I do think the quotes were a lot nicer back then. So if someone says, that he/she misses 'the old witty', that doesn't have to include all the things that changed, nor the years you've been a member. I don't even get why you're so annoyed, they're only speaking from their point of view, just as you do in this quote, so... agh, I don't know. Maybe I'm just spouting non-sense.. ;) I just wish people would get along.. UGH. -___________-

this site does not belong to you. you can't tell someone that they're not a real member just because they weren't here as long as you.
did you ever hear the quote: "in friendship, it doesn't matter who you've known the longest, just who's always been there". well that's like this. I've only been a member for a year & a few months. but I can tell you that I love wittty with all of
my heart. it's been here for me, it's saved my life. I made friends on here that I love & this website means the world to me. so don't try to tell people that they don't love witty as much as you do just cause you've been here for 6 years. people leave this site for people like you. why do we have to have a competition of who loves witty more or who belongs here more. why can't we all just get along? witty is here for all of us. not just me & not just you. stop being immature & just be happy you have witty.
