Chapter 1

We got into the car and packed up.
I turned around and saw all my friends waving goodbye.
I waved at them and I started breaking into tears.
I turned around in my seat and turned on the ignition and follow my parents car out of the drive way.
I plugged my iphone into my car player and I blasted depressing songs to up my mood.
The only sound that broke through was my GPS telling me to turn.
All I could think about was me leaving my friends behind.
But, it was time to start a new beginning.
Time to get away from the heart breaks I suffered in Michigan.
Time to start breaking hearts.
California was a completely new state.
With completely new people.
And completely hot guys..

*The next day.*
An unusually bright, sunny day woke me up.
I couldn't remember where I was for a second.
Then I remembered the tears I had shed the night before.
I felt a dry-achey feeling whenever I blinked.
I looked around and felt like crying, but I didn't.
I checked the time and realized it was almost noon..
Jetlagged.
I stood up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
I walked into the kitchen where my parents were seated.
"Hi sweetie." My mom said to me smiling.
"Hi.. I'm going to the beach." I said to her. "Be back later."
She frowned at me, "Victoria, you can't keep pushing us away."
I barely heard her, I was too busy walking to my room and getting ready.
I unpacked my box labeled 'Beach stuff' and started unpacking it.
I put on a cute, cheetah print bathing suit with beads and white sandals.
I changed my belly button piercing and I made my way downstairs.
I walked out of the house and down to the beach where families were seated.
I looked at all the bright, smiling faces and I frowned.
'Why couldn't I be happy?' I asked myself.
"Hello thereeee beautiful." a voice yelled at me.
I looked over to see a really attractive guy walking my way.
I looked at him, "Hello." I said in a slightly rude voice.
He smiled at me, "I'm Jonah. I saw you move ino your new house yesterday and thought to introduce myself." He held out his hand.
I smiled at him and shook his hand, "Hey."
"Aren't you going to tell me your name, beautiful?" He asked, smiling bright.
I shook my head. "You have to figure it out."
He grinned, "I like a challenging girl."
I smiled, "You haven't dealt with a challenge this big though I'm guessing."
He laughed again, "I don't think so, your like all the other girls in this state."
I gave him a smirk, "Oh really. Tell me what kind of girl I am."
"You're looking for love."
I shook my head, "Good try but not. Love is just a word to me."
He smiled. "I bet I can change that."
"You can try, but it won't work." I said
He leaned into me, "I don't give up."

why is she going to the beach on her FIRST day there? why wont she unpack or do some stuff. i dont wanna be rude but this story is similar to alot of stories i read on witty and i dont want this to be like them... she goes to the beach everyday.. meets a new oboy... pretends not to like him but ends up liking him anyways then some drama happens and its over :(
