Why is it that wet hair is darker,
if water is colorless?
curious....

Its because the water is absorbed by the hair and and so the hair is less reflective, which makes it seem darker.

Not to get all nerdy, but when something absorbs water it gets denser (so all the particles are closer together) and it looks darker, that's why a drop of coca cola looks yellow, but a whole glass is brown.
Hope I helped.

its becuz the water is covering the sun or light that gives it its color. the water blocks the sunlight from coming in and therefore reflecting tht color bakk.
