Alright, I'm sorry. but this wasn't made to make an arguement. obviously, its just an opinion. you don't all have to freak out, and get all smart on her. give her a break. Her Belief- Her Oppinion; You don't agree don't favorite or like. That simple.

1. X-mas has nothing to do with Santa.
2. Saying "happy holidays," is the correct way to do it. There's lots of holidays at this time of year, and saying "Merry Christmas," is kind of stupid, don't you think? There's a lot of other holidays we're celebrating.
3. The Christian faith isn't all about Christmas. If you want to celebrate Christ, you can do it every day of the year. There are churches for a reason.
Don't be so naive about something just because you're not a part of it.

Yeah, welcome to 2011. Christmas isn't about Christ for everyone. We don't even know Jesus' real birthday. December 25 was just picked because it fit nicely for Pagans to convert in relation to their celebrations of the divine.

christmas is a holiday to spend time with your family and close friends, and enjoy the fun of giving and receiving. theoretically, the holiday originally came from the christian's story of christmas, but the holiday does not revolve around that completely. it depends on your beliefs and how religious you are. for some little kids, who dont know much about religion yet, it IS about santa. all they care about is their family and the happy colorful gift boxes under the tree. it really depends on everyone.

i think its pretty stupid that people even point that out. The world doesnt revolve around the christians that think we should say "Merry christmas" instead of happy holidays or x-mas. I dont htink it really matters and if it really did then it should be a freaking law or something.
