Im in love with my best friend.
We have been best friends for 6 years. Yes, i have had boyfriends in the past, but i always end up comparing them to him. And if i start to like someone i will tell him and if he says he doesn't like them then i will be like then it must be better if i don't like him. I literally tell him everything and whenever i need advice he is the first person i go to. I don't know what to do, advice please!

In less than two weeks i start high school.. you guys have no idea how scared i am. Most of my friends are all going to north and me and 3 other friends are going to south. On Wednesday it was my birthday. I had to go to the football field cause my
little brothers had practice. I was just walking around with my friend when
my crush walks up to me says "Happy birthday Katie!" and gives me a giant
hug! When I was in his arms it felt like the entire world just disappeared,
everything felt perfect, and I was smiling like an idiot. If only he knew
what one hug from him meant to me.

I know its not pretty but I need advice please!!
A couple nights ago be and my best guy friend who is also my crush got into a huge fight. It all started when he was sitting next to me and wouldn't stop talking about this girl he has been talking to. Eventually I had had it with listening to him go on and on so i ran into my back yard and i just sat there with my face in my hands holding back the tears. A couple minutes later he came running over to me to ask what happened, but i just knew that if i started to talk i would start balling. I couldn't even look at him, and he sat there with me for at least 2 minutes, then finally he said well i guess your mad at me so I'm going home. after he walked into my house to leave i completely lost it, i could not stop balling. I texted him saying that when he talks about other girls in front of me because it makes me feel worthless.Luckly, my best friend was at my house for the night and she came over to me and tried to comfort me. then we both ran up to my room so my little brothers wouldn't see me. a couple minutes later my crush walked in my house but me and my best friend stayed in my room not knowing if it was really him or not. so I texted him and said " did you just come in my house?" and he said "no leave me alone jeez!" and we got into a huge fight and we were texting back and forth for about 2 hours just fighting. he said something and I said " i hope the next girl you talk to knows how much of a jerk (I didn't actually said jerk i said something much worse) you can be and I'm sure as heck happy it isn't me! towards the end he said " Katie Katie Katie I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry its just tonight you put me over the edge with jealous and it ticked me off and honestly i left for a few minutes and sat on the rock outside your house in embarrassment knowing i f/cked up I'm sorry."
