Chapter 21.
My feet stopped outside his front door, I hesitated whether to go back or not, my face was feeling cool from the air that hit my face.
Should I go back in and sort everything out? I placed my hand on the door handle I bit my lip trying not to let a tear out, be grown up Evie.
As I entered someone opened the door before me, my eye scanned the door.
“What’s up?” he said before I pushed passed him.
I looked for Eddie who was still cleaning, my body sunk into the seat next to him. I touched his hand which felt numb and he pulled it away, probably with the pain that the glass cut him on.
“I’m sorry” I said looking at his face which was turned away from me.
“Look just forget it” he spat standing up, “It’s not like I love you”
“But you do” I said grabbing his hand.
“Let go” he said looking at me; I bit my lip ignoring what he said.
“Look maybe I’m with Alec but it’ll soon be over between us” I said looking at him.
“So you’re going to use me till you split up with Alec?” Eddie said walking off, “Just go before I do something you regret.”
“Whatever”I said “And I lost my virginity to you”
“Whatever” he said walking off.
I walked out leaning my back against the wall. I checked my phone to see if I had any missed calls or messages but they was nothing, not even from Ruby.
I walked home and saw mom and Paul sat on the sofa. Mom stood up and came towards me but I ran straight for my bedroom and laid on my bed looking at the roof.
I looked to see who was online and saw that Alec was online, my heart skipped a beat once I saw him online, I didn’t know what to do I didn’t know if to talk to him or whether I was dreaming, dreams always seem better than reality now a days.
I didn’t know if he knew about Eddie and I, should I tell him or should I just leave it and pretending nothing happened? But before I could think he popped up on chat.
Alec: Good night last night?
What did he mean by that? Did he know something was going on between Eddie and me or was I just getting paranoid, is this what cheating on someone feels like? Guilty and paranoia?
Me: You could say so (:
Alec: That’s good :D You surviving without me? (;
Me: A little, hbu? (:
Alec: I miss you a lot, I can’t live without you babe.
I let out a gulp, if he found out what I did he would be furious but I guess he couldn’t kill me since we lived far away from us.
Me: Aw you’re so cute.
Alec: I know I am (; anyway babe I’ve gotta go mom wants to go in the city, I love you <3

I shut down my laptop and laid on my bed till I had the strength to get a cold shower something to numb my pain and shock.
I never knew I’d be like this. Never did I think I’d be the cheater in a relationship, but I guess it could happen to anyone but some people manage to say no but not me I always do the opposite things.

Chapter 20.
I woke up feeling sweaty and hot and I certainly wasn't in a room I recognised, I looked to the side of me seeing Eddie sleeping next to me.
“Ed” I said shaking him.
“W-What?” Eddie said opening his eyes, “What’s the rush?”
“GET UP!” I yelled, she sat up rubbing his eyes, “We’re naked”
“I guess we did it” Eddie said looking under the covers, “Yeah I guess we did”
“Do you want a sticker?” I said sarcastically shoving the duvet around my body.
“No need to be sarcastic” Eddie said smiling putting on his boxers and walking to the door.
“Where are you going?” I blushed.
“Downstairs” Eddie said touching the door handle.
“Fine” I said reaching for my bra, “Please don’t tell Alec”
“The secrets safe with me” Eddie winked opening the door.
I quickly put my outfit back on making sure the outfit wasn’t out of place, I made my way to the bathroom but there were people sleeping in there.
“Can’t a girl have some privacy” I muttered but they were out of it. I looked in the mirror to see my skin was red and my mascara was smudged.
How could I lose my virginity to Eddie? I bit my lip till a body on the floor woke up. I made my way out the bathroom to try and find Ruby but she must have gone home. I checked my phone to see 2 missed calls from mom and a text from Ruby.
Ruby: Where’d you go? I was waiting for you outside but you didn’t turn up.
Me: Ugh sorry I passed out.
I made my way downstairs seeing bodies laid there while Eddie was clearing the beer bottles and the trash.
“Need help?” I said smiling.
“Your alright, do you want me to drive you home?” Eddie offered picking up his keys.
“Not it's alright you can't leave the house unattended” I said looking at people scattered all over the floor who was too out of it.
“If you say so” Eddie said picking up some broken glass.
“Let me help” I said, but he cut his finger.
“Dammnit” he said rushing for the sink. I touched his finger making sure he held pressure onto the cut.
“Let me get a bandaid” I said going through his cupboards. I found one and placed it on his finger.
“Evie, I don’t want you to think it was a one night stand” Eddie said touching my hair, “I kind of...like you”
I remained quiet.
“I’ve got to get home” I said grabbing my bag.
What have I just done?

Chapter 18.
*Evies POV*
It was the day of the party. Ruby came over so we could pick our outfits; I’m never good at choosing clothing for parties.
“We’ve got to choose you something that’ll catch the boys’ eyes” Ruby said going through my closet.
“I don’t want boys to look at me” I said knocking her elbow.
“C’mon you can tease them” Ruby smiled picking out a blue strapless tube top that ended just at my breasts and some ripped up shorts.
“No way am I wearing that” I said snatching the top away.
“C’mon you have the perfect figure” Ruby whined taking it out my hand.
“No” I said sitting on my bed, “I so get to pick your outfit”
“You can do” Ruby smiled “As long as you wear this”
“Nope” I said folding my arms.
“C’mon” she said, I glared at her, “Fine please wear this”
It was a pink strapless top it was pretty. I smiled and got changed, I looked in the closet to pick out Ruby’s outfit I needed something that she’d hate to wear.

“You look sexy” she teased, I pushed her onto the bed in a joking way suddenly before you knew it, we were there. People were making out, drinking bear and the garden was filled will toilet roll.
“Hey sexy” one boy teases I pushed him on the chest, “Feisty”
“Shut up” I said, smelling the alcohol on his breath, I looked to Ruby but she was gone, great.
I tried to find Eddie but there were no luck. I went downstairs to grab some vodka and threw it down my throat, maybe this is good time to get wasted.
I felt a pair of hands pull me around the waist I turned around to see Phil who was on the soccer team.
“Let go” I said trying to push him away but there were no luck. I tried to find something that would hurt him, I tried to recall what they talked about in school about self defence but nothing came in.
I saw Eddie stood on top of the stairs looking towards me. He ran up stairs but luckily I managed to run free where I went to chase Eddie but it was too late I couldn’t see him anywhere.

Chapter 17.
*Alec’s POV.*
“Nice room, I have the exact same layout” Amanda said smiling. Suddenly Grace came walking up to my bedroom, “Hey Grace”
“Hi” she said smiling. I looked at Grace who was sat on my bed.
“We should go shopping in the city the shopping’s great!” Amanda said smiling looking out the window.
“Not my thing” I said looking at Amanda her eyes were dark and beautiful her hair looked to be soft and her skin was beautiful, why is my neighbour hot?
“That’s boys my brothers are the same” Amanda said turning around smiling.
“Yup” Grace said smiling. I saw the bored expression of Amanda’s smile she looked so happy and her eyes were dark and yet so beautiful.
“Good news Alec, we’ve spoke to the neighbours and they’re allowing us use their internet!” mom shouted from downstairs. I looked at Amanda who looked confused all of a sudden mom shouted, “You’ll be able to speak to Evie!”
“Who’s Evie?” Amanda asked looking at Grace then at me.
“No one just a friend” I said quickly, suddenly Grace turned around and gave me a glare, “Uh-uh I mean she’s my girlfriend”
“That’s cool. Anyway I’ve got to do some homework” she said running down the stairs, “I’ll let myself out”
“Look what you’ve done now fool!” Grace said running down the stairs, I followed her, “If this gets out to Evie, you’ll be dead!”
“So? She’ll never know” I said, gosh did I really say that about Evie? She’s supposed to be my world.
“Not if I tell her...” Grace said. I glared at her and ran upstairs to my laptop. I quickly ran up to her and grabbed the laptop off her.
“Will you stop being such a brat?” I spat at Grace never once did I say something like that.
“Oh so now you’re scared you didn’t sound scared when you said she wasn’t your girlfriend, decide who you love Alec, the girl who you’ve known basically your whole life or the girl you’ve known for 5 minutes” she said.
“Well it’s hard if she’s far away!” I said.
“I can’t believe you’ve just said that you were the one who convinced Evie nothing will have changed!” Grace said, “We all love Evie and if you break her heart I’ll break you where it hurts the most”
“I do love Evie!” I said staring at Grace who is loading the laptop up. I walked out the room the truth is I don’t care what Grace does.
Maybe it’s best if Evie and I split up. She’s right it’s going to be hard.

Chapter 16.
I walked home to see mom still looking at the pictures. I slammed the onions on the side and sat down on the chair, now she’s got no excuse of getting out of it. She put the picture in the drawer; I walked around to mom and opened the drawer. I found a scrunched up paper in the drawer, I hovered my hand over it before mom took it out.
“Mom...” I said raising an eyebrow. She opened the trash can and threw it in.
“Mom, I think that goes in the paper recycling...” I said looking at mom worriedly.
“Go away” mom said rubbing her forehead something she did when she was stressed she walked away from the trashcan, I walked over to the trash can but mom ran up to me, “Please don’t do this”
“Mom please” I said unravelling the paper. I looked to see it read
‘To Evie Robinson’
I read in the letter it was a letter from dad, my eyes looked straight ahead to mom and ran straight upstairs I slammed the door and jumped straight on my bed, I wish I could call Alec right now at this minute to tell him the news, I haven’t even read the letter yet. I looked at it to see what he had written:
‘Dear Evie,
I’m so sorry I haven’t seen you growing up. I regret what I did I chose alcohol over your mom and you I wish I could turn the time back but sadly no one can do that. You’re probably thinking why now? You’re 16 years old now you’re almost an adult you deserve to know the truth.
I’m a recovered alcoholic have been since 3 years ago, I was coming back to tell you both but your moms probably found someone else because she’s beautiful but I met this wonderful women so I didn’t come back, I’m so sorry. I’m currently living in Maryland with my fiancée Julie and her daughter Paris who is 7 years old. We’ve been together for 5 years now.
I want to let you know I think about you every minute of the day. Julie knows everything about you and me being an alcoholic luckily she saw that I was a changed man because no mom wants an alcoholic around their kid and we think it’s the perfect time to meet us. We’ll buy you flight tickets for the summer, if you’d like to come we’d be honoured to meet you and maybe you could come to our wedding when we plan a date? My eyes filled upwith tears why didn’t mom want to give me this? I put the letter in my drawer and went downstairs. I looked at mom who looked at me.
“Mom I hate you!” I screamed at her with the letter handing in the palm of my hand. Never once have I told mom I hated her, hate is a strong word.
“I didn’t mean to, I was meant to tell you” she said clinging to her stomach, even if she was pregnant she’s not making an excuse to get out of it.
“Whatever but he’s my dad you can’t stop me from seeing him” I said letting down a gulp.
“I know that and if you want to see him I won’t have a problem with that” mom said sitting down, her bump was actually getting big.
“That’s good because I was thinking of going to live with him” I said, I wasn’t actually I was just seeing what she was going to see.
“You can’t! I’m sorry” mom said, “What if you don’t like Maryland?”
“Well there’s not much here anyway is there?” I said looking around.
“Don’t say that! I bought you up the best I could” mom said looking at me, her eyes were watering.
“Maybe not hard enough” I spat, those words hurt me because she did everything for me she made sure every Christmas and birthday was special.
“Eve...” she said looking at me, “I’m sorry. I’ll promise I won’t open anymore of your mail”
“Whatever” I said running upstairs and slamming the door on the way. My body flopped onto the bed which curled up and my eyes finally came out with the waterfall of tears. I didn’t mean everything I said to my mom she means everything to me.

Chapter 15.
*Evie’s POV*
When I got home from school I saw mom holding out the pictures of the scan I could see she was happy but she was also unsure.
“Mom, what’s up?” I asked shoving my bag under the table.
“You know where your bag goes” mom said looking at the bag. I sighed and put it under the stairs closet. I sat back down near the table and looked at mom who was rooting through the fridge, “Evie, will you pop to the shop for me I forgot the onions”
“Sure but only if you tell me what’s wrong” I said looking at mom who looked around at me; her green eyes stared straight ahead of me.
“Look Evie if you don’t get the onions then they’ll be no dinner” mom said sounding angry, I grabbed the $5 off the side and slammed the door. Why won’t she tell me?
I walked into the store to find Eddie down the candy isle with his sister. I walked down to the isle that the onions were at and grabbed the pack that looked good. I sighed and decided I’d treat myself to some candy it can be what mom owes me for been grumpy although I guess pregnant women can be a little hormonal and I say a little.
“Oh hey” Eddie said nudging me on the arm. I looked around with a blank expression, “What’s up?”
“Hi Eddie” I said giving out a small smile with the little girl clutching onto Eddie’s hand.
“You alright?” Eddie said again. I looked into his eyes and looked into the little girls.
“You could say so, just about” I said, “Look my mom really wants me to get home with these onions”
“It can wait” he said, “Cady go find mom and dad, tell them I’m with a girl from school”
“Come with me” she said pulling onto Eddie’s arm. I let out a smile.
“Look it’s alright I can tell you tomorrow...” I said before Eddie walked away.
“Wait there I’ll just take her back to my mom and dad” Eddie said smiling, “You choose your candy”
I decided to choose the nerds and sour patches. I went to pay then I looked around to see Eddie outside the doors waiting for me, I let out a small smile and walked outside and sat on the bench.
“So tell me” Eddie said smiling, “You know you can trust me, right?”
“I know. It’s just my mom she seems a bit upset but I asked her what’s wrong and she won’t tell me she made up excuses how I shouldn’t put my school bag under the dining table and that if I don’t get onions we’ll be having no dinner” I said looking upset suddenly Eddie got my chin again and smiled.
“Look your moms going through a hard...” he said looking at me.
“She’s having twins she should be happy!” I said standing up, “Look I’ve got to get home”
“Sit down! What I meant is with Alec going away she’s stressed and she’s found out having twins is going to be hard with you going to university soon and the twins will be demanding” Eddie said scratching his head, how’d he know this?
“Thanks for that you made it sounds like it was my entire fault!” I said standing up again.
“No it’s not your fault at all your mom’s just thinking that’s all... just give her time” Eddie said, I sighed and hugged him.
“Look I’ve got to get home mom wants these onions” I said smiling. I walked off back home and thinking off what Eddie said, maybe he’s right maybe my mom was stressed and me going to University would make it more harder with paying for it. I needed to get a job or make some way of getting money because without money I wouldn't get to go to university. I guess people are right life is hard once you get older.
Where did the old times get to, eh? The days we'd have fun and nothing could get us down except from falling over and crying over what color crayon we should choose. Sometimes I wish life was simple and it'd solve it's self. I guess life is somewhat like Math, full off solving and mysteries.

Chapter 14.
*Alec’s POV*
“Let the poor girl in then” Grace said smiling at the brown haired girl.
“Yeah sure come in” I said letting the door open a bit more. I closed it once she was in. She smiled back at me and followed Grace to the lounge. I followed them both into the lounge, mom and dad followed.
“Hi, I live next door. My name is Amanda” she said looking straight at Grace.
“I’m Grace” she said shaking her hand, “So you live next door? We should hang out!”
“Sure” she said smiling handing us a basket which I’m guessing is food, “Mum told me to bring it round we know you’re probably low on food in fact she said you can come around for tea”
“Tea?” Grace said smiling. What Grace doesn’t know is American and English wording can be different but the way she said ‘mum’ was so damn cute.
“Yeah I think you Americans call it dinner, is that right?” Amanda said laughing.
“Yeah that’s right” I said smiling at her, “You England people call Trash rubbish, right?”
“Yup” she said giggling.
“How old are you Amanda?” mom asked looking at me and then at Grace.
“I’m 16, how about you Grace and...?” she said.
“I’m Alec” I managed to say, “I’m 16 as well”
“I’m 14” Grace said sighing I knew she thought Amanda would hang around with me a lot more than her.
“So you’re in college or are you in year 11?” Amanda said still grinning. What’s year 11?
“What’s year 11?” I asked raising an eyebrow.
“Like you Americans call them grade, us England people finish school when we’re 16” she added. Wow, England is so different from America.
“He’ll be in college in September the college said it’s too late for him to join” mom said, “For the time being he’ll be getting a job”
“Good luck there’s not many going around but I can ask in my café where I work in I get paid £3.50 an hour and some tips if the customers are feeling nice” Amanda said.
“Thanks” I said smiling. I didn’t really see myself being a waiter but whatever. I guess it was good enough, especially if Amanda was there to help me through. Once we finished quizzing her Grace took her upstairs to unpack. I finished unpacking so I helped mom and dad. But I really wanted to get to know Amanda more.

Chapter 13.
It was lunch time; I went to sit down before Eddie called me to go sit next to him. I sat down across from him and looked at Ruby who was walking over; she pulled out a seat and sat next to me.
“What’s this?” Ruby said putting her straw in her Capri Sun.
“Nothing” I said, Ruby smiled and looked at Eddie, “How was your Spring Break?”
“It was good I went to see my Aunt in Ohio for 3 days, how about you?” she said holding out her apple.
“Mine was alright” I said, “How about you Eddie?”
“Boring” he yawned, “I went to Disneyland with my parents and my younger sister”
“How old is your sister?” Ruby said giving out a small smile, I know what she’s thinking, and she’s thinking ‘There’s something going on between you two’.
“She’s 4” Eddie said, “You both got any siblings?”
“I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers” Ruby said laughing.
“Not yet but in 9 months I’m getting two new siblings” I said smiling.
“Wow, congratulations. So do you both live with your parents?” Eddie said, wow this was a personal question.
“I live with my mom and dad” Ruby said now eating her chicken wrap which was falling to pieces.
“I live with my mom and my mom’s boyfriend” I said holding onto my pineapple cubes which was making me sticky.
“That’s cool. Do you see your real dad?” Eddie asked, I glared at him I hate these questions, ‘Oh look Evie’s dad’s a druggie and an alcoholic’.
“No my dad left us when I was 5” I said holding onto my bag of chips. Why do they have to fill it up with air?
“I’m sorry to hear that” Eddie said holding his hand out for me to take it, I glared at it but he moved it before long, “Anyway girls are you coming to my party on Saturday?”
“Yes” Ruby said looking at me.
“Sure” I said biting into the first chip.
“Will see you there then beautiful girls” Eddie said picking up his trash, “I’ve got to go to practise”
“Tell me now” Ruby said glaring at me.
“Tell you what?” I asked giving her the ‘Nothings going on’ face, “I know something’s going on”
“THERE ISN’T!” I said throwing my bag of chips in the air. I stood up and walked to the trash.

Chapter 12.
Evie’s POV.
It’s the first day back to school after Spring Break. I looked around to see people looking at me. I buried my head in the locker grabbing my books that I needed for the day. Suddenly someone grabbed me by the hips.
“Do you mind?” I mumbled. I turned around to see it was someone off the football team it was Eddie, his shaggy brown hair and his brown eyes looked straight ahead of me, “I’m sorry.”
“No it’s alright. How’s Alec?” he asked looking into me, “You don’t know do you?”
“No sorry. We haven’t talked yet” I said, I could feel my eyes swelling up with tears.
“How come?” Eddie said, I gulped this was going to sound stupid.
“He hasn’t got the internet yet and his parents said he can’t text me because it’ll cost him loads” I managed to say without any lumps hanging in my throat. I felt my stomach turn into a big thump.
“Why don’t you leave him and have someone a little closer?” he said pushing my locker door shut and moving in.
“I can’t” I said pushing him on the chest. He laughed and smiled.
“I’m only messing” he said smiling, “So you off to the party on Saturday?”
“What party?” I said raising an eyebrow.
“My party, it’s my birthday duh” Eddie said laughing, “You’re invited”
“Alright I’ll see what I can do” I said holding onto my textbooks.
“Let me hold them” he said smiling, I handed him the textbook that was weighing me down. Why was he doing this?
“Excuse me Eddie but why are you been nice to me? I don’t need this just because Alec’s gone” I said.
“I’m just helping I know you’re having a tough time at the moment” he said clutching onto my textbooks, “Can’t a boy be nice?”
“Sorry” I said looking to the ground suddenly he stopped me and put my chin up for me to look into his eyes.
“You’re beautiful Evie. Now Alec can’t protect you I’m going to do his job, it’s what we footballers do. We look out for one another” Eddie said handing me my textbooks. I walked into class and sat beside Miranda; she let out a smile and winked at me.
"He's been nice for once" Miranda winked.
I let out a laugh and tapped her on the shoulder.
"I mean it he's never that nice. I think he may like you" Miranda teased.
I bit my lip. Did he really like me?

Other Side Of The World.
Chapter 11.
Alec’s POV.
We landed in England. The atmosphere was so different yet so nice, the weather was cold but it wasn’t too cold like the England people describe, apparently we’re moving to the best city in England well not the best because London’s the best right? But we’re living in the most historic town of England which is in the North of England; York.
“C’mon Alec it’s going to be amazing” mom said, we arrived at the house it was pretty big. I looked around.
“Pick your bedrooms but leave the biggest for us” dad said getting the cases out the back of the truck, Grace and I raced upstairs. I picked a room where the roof sloped in and the bedroom was quite big but not as big as the one that I left, it could do with painting.
“Mom when are we getting the internet?” I asked hoping that I’d get the chance to talk to Evie, maybe she was right it was going to be hard.
“Soon darling” mom said. I sighed and unpacked my belongings. Grace walked into the room and looked around.
“I want this room” she said. I looked up at her and stood up and walked over to her, “Please? This room is cool”
“No, I was here first” I said sitting down on the floor. I sighed and stood up grabbing boxes. I walked off to find another room I found a pair of stairs and dumped the boxes on the floor and walked up.
Once I got to the top there was another bedroom with a good view of the city. I smiled and decided to take this bedroom. I bought up the boxes and dropped them on the seat that was built under the window seat.
Dad bought the bed in leaving me to build it what people didn’t know is I couldn’t do DIY so this was going to fail. I eventually built it till Grace came up with her mouth hanging open.
“I thought this was an attic” Grace said looking around, “Can we swap back?”
“No!” I said sitting on the bed. “I’ve swapped with you once and not again” I said. I was the sort of person to give in easy but I guess Evie did that to me.
After we finished unpacking they was a knock on the door.
“Will you get that Alec?” mom said, I sighed and went to the door when I saw the girl standing there gosh she had the most amazing brown eyes...

Chapter 10.
When I got home I saw my friends sat on the sofa in the lounge. I smiled as Faith looked up at me.
“Hey guys” I said putting my slushy down on the coffee table. I looked at Faith who had blonde hair with brown highlights was sat smiling.
“We’re sorry to hear about Alec” Faith said hugging onto me, I smiled and kissed her on the cheek, “So you coming to cheer practise tonight?”
“I don’t know...I don’t feel up to it” I said looking at Ruby who looked at me with sympathetic eyes.
“Look you’ve got to move on Evie” Ruby said, “We’ll be behind you 100% of the way”
“Thanks guys. I guess you’re right Ruby just let me get my kit together” I said storming upstairs to get my stuff. I tied my hair up into a ponytail with a bow. I hated my hair it’d never straighten properly, so it was always curly.
We drove to practise to see the cheer squad cheering and practising. The girls gave out a smile and paused to hug me.
“We’re so sorry to hear about Alec, he’ll be back soon once he hates England” Miranda said hugging onto me. Miranda was the head cheer captain for the squad.
“No one hates England” I mumbled, she pulled away and smiled and walked off. I got into position and twirled around for the practise. We practised our routine till the boys came running onto the pitch. I looked around expecting Alec to be there but he wasn’t, the boys all smiled to me and waved. I gave out a small smile and got back to the routine.
“So girls you know how our coach likes us to have a one time a month meet up we’ve planned on going for a game of bowling” Miranda said, everyone cheered and told Miranda that they were going, “You coming Evie?”
“Maybe some other time” I said grabbing my gym bag.
“C’mon Evie” Miranda said walking by my side, “It’ll be fun honestly”
“Fine” I said smiling, “When?”
“6th April” Miranda said, “That date alright?”
“I guess” I said smiling. Today was 29th March so I’ve got a while to get over Alec moving. The footballers went inside. I drove home with Ruby and we passed Alec’s house, which was empty with a sold sign in the front of the house.

I might not have a chapter out till Sunday! Might have one out tomorrow night but not promising anything! I'm quite busy this weekend D:
It's bonfire night tomorrow (Saturday 5th November) in England and it's my favourite time in the year (except from Christmas) so I'll try to have one up by Sunday(:

Chapter 9.
“Ruth?” I said poking her on the shoulder, “Is that you?”
“Hey” she said turning around, “Oh it’s you, Hi Evie”
Ruth moved to New York in 5th grade but she never came back here.
“How come you’re back?” I asked smiling.
“That isn’t very welcoming” she said smiling while I had a face full of awkwardness, “Chill I’m joking with you. I’ve moved back with my mom ugh my dad got a divorce and mom moved back here with me and my brother”
“Oh that’s good anyway how’s life?” I asked, “Want to walk in the store with me?”
“Mom told me to wait out here. Anyway how’s that boy doing what his name? The blonde one who came to sit with us in 3rd grade” she said smiling.
“You mean Alec? He moved to England yesterday” I said trying to pull out a straight face.
“I bet he’s so good looking now, you two still friends?” she said smiling her freckles seemed to have gone.
“We’re dating” I said.
“Wow, a long distance relationship. I mean that’s cool” she said giving out an awkward smile, great I could tell she was going to be one of those stuck up people who judges people. “Anyway moms here, bye”
I walked off into the shop to get a slushy and chocolate bar; I walked out the shop seeing Ruth helping her mom with the shopping bags, her mom looked posh and in a suit. Ruth glanced at me and gave me the death stare, what the hell was her problem?
Maybe she was in a bad mood. But then again people don't get a death glare for nothing, right? I'll find out soon if she's at my high school, but what's the coincidence that it'll be my school, there's hundreds of schools in this area. I guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Chapter 8.
I went upstairs to tell my friends what was happening on Facebook, they’re all so happy about the news. I went downstairs when I heard my mom talking to Paul the convocation sounded pretty serious, I sat on the bottom step quietly.
“Look Paul I don’t think twins is the answer. Evie’s going to need to sleep more if it means getting her grades up...” I heard mom say, I looked confused why I needed sleep to get grades up.
“Look it’s not all about Evie. I’m sure she’d love two siblings she looked happy” Paul said. Great they’re fighting over me.
“Look Paul, she’s got enough stress with school and her boyfriend been shipped off to England. You’re a surgeon and I’m an accountant we’ll have no time for the babies at all. We’d be counting on Evie to look after them...I don’t think she’s up for that” I heard mom sighing, “Look Paul I do want a baby with you but not two of them!”
“Well I can’t exactly stop you from having twins...look I’ll cut down my hours. I’ll stop at home to bring up these twins, alright?” Paul said, “Look we’ll make it work”
“I know that Paul but what did you mean by ‘Look it’s not all about Evie?” she’s had a hard childhood she’s had no dad figure in her life. She needs to come first she needs to be happy and at the moment I know she’s not happy.” Mom said I could tell she wasn’t happy.
“I love Evie like she’s my own blood honestly I do. I know she comes first but what about the twins? We could all be a proper family you, me, Evie and the twins we could be a happy family” Paul said. I let out a smile and looked out to the window.
I stepped up and walked towards the lounge where I saw Paul and mom look at me with worried eyes.
“Don’t get rid of the twins, I don’t mind looking after them while you’re both at work” I said, “Look Paul I know it’s not all about me it’s about my mom been happy. I know she wants the twins but she can make up her own decision. Mom have the twins we’ll work it out we always have, right?”
“Just listen to her” Paul said looking at me patting down the seat and stroking my hair, I smiled and hit him playfully.
“Alright I guess we’ll have the twins” mom said smiling, “Look darling we wasn’t going to have an abortion... we was just going to look at adoption”
“Adoption? Mom are you crazy?” I said, she gave out a smile, “These twins will probably be the best thing that’s happened for a long while”
“That’s true” mom said smiling, “We would like some help with the names, you’re good with names you named your hamster Tulip”
“Mom I was 7 back then” I said going red, “But if it’s 2 girls you’ve totally got to name them Taylor and Justine”
“Ugh only because they’re your two favorite pops stars” mom said, “No”
I loved Justin Bieber so naming a girl Justine would be a good option and I also love Taylor Swift, she’s helped me with a few problems.
“How about Rosaline and Elizaberth” I said smiling, alright mom didn’t look happy she hates old fashion names, “Mom, I’m just popping to the store, can I get you anything while I’m there?”
“No I’m alright thanks.” Mom said smiling. I walked down to the store when I saw a familiar face.

Other Side Of The World
Chapter 6.
I woke up at 7am, dammit I’m late.
I quickly slipped on some sweatpants and a white Hollister shirt and some uggs. I wanted to look good for him but he leaves in 10 minutes, not much time at all. I ran down to house luckily he only lives 3 blocks away. His parents were packing every little thing in the trunk of the car till Alec’s dad closed it.
“WAIT!” I shouted running down the street, I saw Alec looking up and smiling. I hugged onto him tightly.
“Hey let go I can’t breathe” he said pulling me away but still clutching onto my hands, “I thought you wasn’t going to make it”
“I slept in” I said letting out a quick smile. Just then he kissed me on the lips then kissed me on the cheeks, “And guess what”
“What?” Alec said still holding onto me, “Tell me Eve”
“My mom’s having a baby” I said letting out a smile, Alec smiled and hugged me.
“Tell your mom I said congratulations” he said walking inside I followed him inside where his mom was scanning all the rooms.
“When will you next be here?” I asked looking into his blue eyes they looked icy blue.
“I don’t know babe, when’s your moms wedding?” he asked looking at me, I looked at him and smiled was he going to make it?
“19th July” I said sitting down on the floor.
“Alright Alec it’s time to go, do you want us to drop you off home?” Alec’s dad Frank said smiling at me, “You’re welcome to come see us in England sometime”
“Thanks, I might have to take that offer” I said smiling, “I’m sure mom and Paul would have some money, I’ll walk home it’s alright”
“Alright” Frank said hugging me, “You’ll always be a part of the family”
We went outside where Alec gave me on last kiss before getting into the car, I hugged Grace. Ariel and Frank before they drove off. I walked back with tears dripping from my eye, that’s not the goodbye I wanted, the idea of the goodbye in my head was him sticking his head out the window yelling goodbye that's what they do in movies, right? Then again happy endings only happen in movies, not reality. Movies really screw our female minds.

*Back to now*
I looked at mom who was looking at Paul they sat on the sofa with Pauls hand around moms shoulder. I looked worried while mom was smiling at Paul.
“Mom, is there anything wrong?” I said panicking. Mom smiled and touched Pauls hand on her shoulder, “Mom, tell me”
“How would you like a new baby brother or sister” mom said, I felt my mouth open. Moms pregnant? I was getting a new brother or sister? She’s got to be joking. I’m like 16 and by the time the babies 16 I’ll be 32, now that’s weird. I sat there speechless mom looked at me worried, “Babe you’ll always be my number one girl”
“Yeah right” I mumbled, once this new baby was born I was bound to be left out ‘Oh look at Evie going to University we’ll leave her and go for the new baby’. I let out a gulp.
“Look Evie, I know I’m not your real dad but I love you like you’re my biological daughter. We won’t leave you out we’ll do everything to make you feel included, we’ll do whatever you want us to do...” Paul said before I got a word in.
“Since you said that can you get Alec to stay?” I said looking at Paul hopeful I saw mom look at me then at Paul.
“Darling I don’t think he can do that” mom said walking over to me and put my hands in her palms. I smiled and hugged her “We would do anything so Alec could stay, really we would.”
“We would” Paul added moving towards the sofa next to me. I smiled and hugged Paul.
“Sorry for that Paul, I’m happy for you both I really am. But Paul, you promise you won’t leave us just like my biological dad did?” I asked Paul. He let out a chuckle before hugging me.
“Of course I won’t leave. I love you and your mom” he said kissing me on the cheek, “I’m not like your real dad, I’ll stand by you both”

Other Side Of The World.
Chapter 4.
*Back in 3rd grade*
I walked down to the cafeteria, I sat next to a girl named Ruth she had chestnut brown hair that was in plaits and she had the prettiest freckles that matched her hair. She has on a little pink dress with a white cardigan and pink Barbie sandals.
“I like your shoes” I said smiling; she smiled and patted the shoes together.
“Thank-you I like your hair” she said holding out a candy stick, “Have one”
“Alright” I said grabbing a candy stick. I smiled we were talking happily till a blonde boy came around the table.
“Is this seat taken?” he said putting his Spiderman pack lunch box on the table. Ruth and I looked at each other and smiled.
“Sure” we both said nodding. He sat down across from us he is shy for saying he was a boy. His dark blue eyes shined at us I saw Ruth smiling while I was eating my banana.
“I’ll swap my apple for your grapes” Ruth said holding up her red glossy apple.
“Alright” he said swapping her for the grapes. I sat there awkwardly not knowing what to do.
“What’s your name?” I asked looking at the boy; he sat there shuffling in his seat, and “I’m Evie”
“I’m Alec” he said holding out his hand, “You have very pretty hair; you have the same hair as my mommy”
“I’m Ruth” she said smiling. Once we finished eating we went out to play, “Let’s play tag, you be on Alec”
“But I think you should be on” Alec said looking at Ruth. I could tell this was going to end up in a fight.
“But you’re the boy...boys go first” Ruth said sticking out her tongue. After a few minutes of deciding Alec was on we ran around till he tagged me. This carried on for around 10 minutes till we got bored. Ruth decided to go play with the girls at jump rope.
“She’s bossy” Alec said with one tooth missing on his top teeth, “I don’t like her”
“Me too” I said smiling, least we agreed on something. We sat there comparing cartoons he liked Scooby-doo, Spiderman and Ben 10 while I liked Zoey 101, Sleepover Club and that’s So Raven. That’s when the bell went we walked inside holding hands at that age it was innocent it meant nothing.
“I’ll see you later best friend” Alec said smiling.
“Bye” I said waving to him; I could tell we were going to be best friends.

Other Side Of The World.
Chapter 3.
Once we finished packing his stuff I took him to my house where I told my friends and his friends and football team to go. I opened the door to see banners up and my friends cheering once we opened the door.
“Surprise!” people shouted and cheered. His football team gave him a manly hug.
“We’re going to miss our best football player” Leo said smiling. I looked at Alec who was speechless, “We’ll look after Evie”
“You better” Alec said smiling, “She’s going to be lost without me”
I glanced up at him, will I really be lost? I have my friends to take my mind off of him and I have moms wedding to stress about, but I guess I will be lost everything I do I’ll be wishing he was with me. We went down to the basement where my friend Ruby made him a Goodbye cake.
“Remember it’s not a goodbye it’s a see you later” Ruby said giving me a smile. I gave out a quick smile and hugged Ruby. I cut the cake and gave everyone a slice of vanilla cake with icing on the top it was Alec’s flavor of cake.
After we all ate the cake we did all the usual stuff at a party; truth or dare, dance, drink, and spin the bottle and some other crazy stuff. Just then once we all calmed down Alec stood up with his beer can in his right hand, his bright blue eyes looked straight at the football team, then at his friends, then at my friends and of course me.
“I’d like to thank you all for been here and for Evie sorting out this party for me. Remember I’ll try to come back every summer and every chance I get believe me. I’ll never forget any off you. I’ll still be on facebook and stuff and you better all send me photos. I’ll miss each one of you like hell” Alec said looking at everyone, girls were tearing up while I was sat there emotionless, “My beautiful girlfriend Evie I’ll miss more than anything”
I felt tears swell down my face; I didn’t care what I looked like I was losing the boy I love. I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror why did I cry every time he says something like that? I needed to stop I need to be happy before he goes. He goes tomorrow but how are you supposed to let go of the boy you love?
Once the party was over Alec went home for his final night at his home in California. I'm sat watching our favorite TV programme which was on; Cake Boss whenever we saw a cake that we liked the look of we'd both shout 'THAT ONE FOR OUR WEDDING!', one thing that probably won’t happen. Just then mom and Paul came through the door kissing suddenly they separated.
“We’re sorry” mom said looking at me. What are they sorry for? “We need to talk to you...”

I swear the story gets better after this chapter :D.
I won't be able to post up tomorrow though because I'm off to an amusement park with my family and some friends. I'll try my best to get one up on Saturday or at the weekend if I'm not doing anything(:
You're probably like 'Why does that matter?' but I like to try and update the story daily ._.
