Yesterday I was at my school dance, I was over dancing with my friends, When someone came over and wispered in my ear, "Go talk to Erin" then walked away, I never saw who it was and i couldn't tell by their voice, But i looked around and saw Erin crying, I went to talk to her. I sat down next to her, Erins best friend taylor said to her, "If anyone knows what to say and do, it's Daelyn"(Me) Taylor then walked away, We were still in the school gym, and the music was on blast, But erin was sobbing, i couldn't leave her, I asked Erin, as soft as i could so i could still be heard, "What's wrong?" She sobbed even more and looked me in the eyes and said "My mom's cancer is back" I Was shocked! I didn't even know her mom had cancer, I told Her everything would be alright, That we have an amazing health care System, She said softly "I can't do this, my mom had cancer before and had a surgery, to get rid of it,But it's back" That's when i froze, I couldn't think straight those few words just frightened me to death, My dad Is in halifax now having a surgery to get rid of cancer, The thought that the cancer could come back frightned me, I spent about another hour with Erin, But when i left i still felt slightly Terrified I thought about telling, my mom or dad about it but i couldn't Espassily Not my dad, His cancer is not even gone yet, I shouldn't be thinking about it comming back.
