i'm the girl I'm the girl who prefers one rose over a dozen. I'm the girl who would rather stay in on a Friday night than go to a wild party with random stangers. I'm the girl who wouldn't make you wait on her hand and foot, but would do anything to make you happy. I'm the girl who would enjoy having a movie night rather than going to some fancy restaurant. I'm the girl who won't make you hold her bags, but would rather hold your hand. I'm the girl who will love you more than anyone can possibly dream of. I'm the girl who would give the world to see you smile. This "girl" is me.

when you're sad #5 Sing. Loudly. Badly. Off-key. Whatever you like. It works. The last time I was on my way somewhere really nerve-wracking, I was in a cab. The radio was playing & I was so anxious that the only way I could distract myself was by singing along. Loudly. The driver probably thought I was a total nut but it did the trick! format jimmy365

Have you ever; laid in bed at night and just cried. Cried because you're ugly or not good enough. You count all yours flaws from head to toe punishing yourself and making you feel worse. You cry about the comments people blurt out, the 'jokes' that actually hurt your feelings. Cry because all it takes is one thing to wrong and that's it. You cry cos you cant do sh*t about it. They tell you to stop complaining, that you have it so much better than the kids in Africa. You don't want to be a burden so you bottle it all up. Around people, you're the happiest ray of sunshine. but they don't know, at night when you're alone.. You break down and cry.

ever wonder why that girl grips the ends of her sleeves so tight? Maybe you haven’t noticed how you have never seen her arm. Ever wondered why that girl hides herself when you’re changing for gym? Maybe you haven’t noticed how she wears the hoodie, even if its summer. Ever wondered why the boy never has a lunch? Maybe you haven’t noticed him slowly fading down to bones. Ever wondered why that girl’s eyes always look puffy? Maybe you haven’t noticed the bruises. Ever wondered why that boy always smiles? Maybe you haven’t noticed how his eyes are always dead. People hide things every day; they do small things almost unnoticeable things just so no one finds out.

Today in Health Class, we were talking about Depression. My teacher asks the prettiest, most popular girl in our year, "Lea, what do you think is the worst thing about Self Harming?" Slowly, Lea pulled up her sleeve to reveal cuts all up her arm. "Someday my kids are going to see the scars."

In 6th grade, I broke up with my first boyfriend. He became my best friend. Six years later at our high school graduation, he makes his valedictorian speech. The last thing he says? "Maddy, I never stopped loving you. It's been six years... Can we try again?" We just celebrated our 50th anniversary together.
