A Kiss in a Photobooth
Chapter 9
Part 2
I went to go take the dress off and when I came out Emily was still trying to find hers. I went ot join her looking through dresses and after about 5 minutes Harry came up behind us and tapped Emily's shoulder.She turned around and Harry handed her a dress.
I looked at it stunned. It was so pretty, it was also one of Emily's favorite colors and pink definatly looked good on her. (Here's the dress, http://www.polyvore.com/prom_dress_emily/set?id=47504764)
"Harry that dress, it's gorgeous!" I said looking at the dress in Emily's hands.
"I know, just like Emily." Harry said. And I have to give it to him that was swift. Emily looked up from the dress and at Harry. Her cheeks were all red but she didn't seem to care at the moment. "Thank you Harry, I'm going to try this on be back in a second." She said as she hurried to the dressing room. She came back out in her dress and she looked stunning. Harry was the first to say something, "Emily you look beautiful." he said as she blushed and looked down at her feet. "Thank you" she said faintly.
I walked up to Emiy and told her the same and she had the same reponse a faint, thank you and that was it. This wasn't the Emily I knew. Why wasn't she happy and smiling. I made her look up at me until she was looking me in the eye. "Why aren't you happy? What's wrong?" She sighed and simply said, "I can't afford it can we just keep looking?" She said dissapointed.
"Aw Em I'm sorry and of course we can still keep looking." I said as she headed back into the dressing room. She was walking in the door as Harry stopped her. "Emily wait!" he called. She turned around and looked at him for an answer. He leaned on one of the dress racks with his elbow and answered her, "I could pay for the dress I mean it's no big deal." He leanded a little too far on the rack and then he was leaning on nothing at all and he was on the floor. Both Emily and I gasped but Emily ran to him and pulled him up and right into a kiss, he was surprised at first but then settled into it. As she pulled out of the kiss she had a smile across her face.
"You can buy me the dress if you want but I need to ask you something more important." she paused and looked him in the eyes. "Will you go to prom wit-"
"YES!" he answered cutting her off. He took her face with both hands and gave her a quick kiss.
**Authors note: I think that was a realy cute chapter hehehe I'll write again tomorrow if I can! :)**
