You think nothing good can occur

And they laugh or they leave
When no one sees the marks
Hidden under your sleeve
And no one sees the lonliness
Inside of your eyes
No one sees what you see in the mirror
A girl you despise
When you have so much to say
And it all goes to waste
When you go through your day
And you don't understand why you are here
When you are so used to crying
And living in fear
When you feel so cold
And you can't make it go away
When you dread every night
And every single day
When you are seen yet ignored
When you are heard yet unhead
When you are quiet as a mouse
And as caged as a bird

Yet you cannot escape the pain

But your perception is wrong

To the beautiful person you had been all along
This poem is entitled "things that hurt" but its not about typical everyday things like a break up or something. Again, like much of my poems, this one focuses on my eating disorder, self harm, and depression

if i were famous i would literally just tour around
the country without telling anyone and go to random college campuses late at night, and i'd wait until i saw one person walking by themselves and i'd walk up behind them and put my hands over their eyes and say guess who and when they turned around it'd be me and they'd be like omg and then i'd say "no one will ever believe you" and i'd just sprint off into the moonlight

Reasons why winter is better summer
--Little to no insects
--Sweaters all the time
--The air is nice and fresh smelling
--Sometimes it snows and you get out of school

STORY TIME
so in my art class there's this boy (this isn't going where you think it's going, i promise) and he's really quiet and shy and a few weeks ago after school i was sitting at the back of the class sketching and he was painting at the front. then one of the popular guys who's kind of a "bad boy" walks in and walks right up to him, puts his hand on his shoulder and asks, "hey, whatcha painting?" and the other guy showed him and the popular boy was like, "awh, that's amazing!" and the other guy just BLUSHES and then the popular guy ruffled his hair. then he noticed i was there and gave a kinda awkward little wave but he sat down in front of him and watched him paint for the next hour and a half and they were both smiling so much and i think i accidentally witnessed a highschool au fanfiction occuring at my school oh god its the bad boy and the quiet arty guy i think they're in love and i still can't think properly help

Please hear me out guys? Okay, so she's like, so annoying! I HATE her so much! She's always making me feel stupid and she always helps my grades go down by making me pay attention to her frickin problems! She's ALWAYS rambling on about unnessessary problems in her life, like can you SHUT UP NO ONE CARES. Good GOD. I hope she knows everyone wants her to die. I wish she would just fall off a cliff or something. Oh yeah, and she's so self centered!
