♏ It seems that there's always been something intriguing about being mysterious. Maybe that's why us Scorpios thrive upon it ♏

Write letters to the people you love.
Don't seal them; don't send them
Stick them between pages of library books
Let someone discover them and wonder about who you are and who you're writing to...
Touch their hearts and make their day.
Let them fall in love with your story as they would fictional characters in books.

I love the smell of rain
as it falls from the dark sky
    late at night
    spraying into my room
    through the open window
    gently whispering
    the secrets of the night
with each drop that lands on the carpet.
    The sky is angry,
    my room is luminated
by the celestial glow of the flood lamps outside
    I sit on my bed
    listening to the night's music
and dreaming of a new life.

    Far Away (Page2)
As his eyes flutter open, Eric is overwhelmed by a bright blinding light. ‘Oh god I am dead’ he thought, but as he blinked the room came into focus. He was in the hospital lying on a bed in one of those single rooms. The constant beeping of the heart monitor was the only sound he could hear as he slowly sat up. A piercing pain shot through him and he clutched at his chest, looking down he could see that his chest was wrapped in a white bandage. Lifting the blood stained bandage he could see a large bruised area where he was shot. The actual hole looked disgusting; Eric quickly placed the bandage back into place. He really didn’t feel like hurling over his own wound. He was startled by the door opening and a pretty nurse walking in, she had long natural red hair that hung over her small shoulders. She was holding a clipboard with a paper on it her nails were long and painted a pretty blue green color.
Eric blinked and sat back against the pillow as the nurse looked up at him her eyes widen. “You’re awake!” She exclaimed in almost disbelief. Eric unable to process words just nodded softly, she softly giggled and walked over to sit on his bedside, looking back down at the clipboard she scribbled a few unseen words and looked back up to Eric. “So how are you feeling honey?” He watched her lips move and then looked up at her eyes, they were a beautiful blue almost like the ocean…His head right then is flooded with the scene of him jumping off the cliff and diving into the ocean… “S...Sore...” His voice sounded weak and soft, slightly shaky as well. The nurse’s pretty smile faded as she nodded softly to his answer. “It is expected to be sore after being shot dear.” Eric placed a hand on his own forehead and looks up to the ceiling. “H…How did I get here?” All he could remember was running for his life then falling to his knees as he was shot on the road. “Well a nice young man found you laying on the side of the street bleeding quiet bad, he called for an ambulance.” The nurse smiled again and he could swear that smile could calm anybody down. “H…How long have I…” Eric wasn’t able to finish before the nurse spoke up.”…been unconscious?” her ocean colored eyes looked back down to the clipboard and scanned over it then drifted back up to look at him, her voice riddled with sympathy. All he could do was nod; she slightly looked away and spoke softly. “You have been out about a week or two.” Eric was shocked by her answer; he had been asleep for a couple of weeks?!
After about another week in the hospital and a million more questions like; where am I? Will I be okay? How bad is it? How long do I have to stay here? Do you have family Eric? Where are you from Eric? How old are you…ect. Of course all of the questions were answered, Eric was 16 both his parents were dead; he didn’t know where any of his other family was. He was an only child, so the hospital called the orphanage for him. Upon arriving to the orphanage he could believe his eyes. The orphanage was a huge building old worn dark bricks covered in vines and moss, the windows however looked brand new. He stepped out of the car in the new outfit that was gifted to him by the hospital staff, a plain black T-shirt, dark faded jeans and his converse; that’s all he had. The car driver smiled and waved at Eric and drove off just as an older looking lady walked out of the two doors at the front of the building. Her eyes were kind and framed by large glasses. He couldn’t help but smile at her; she looked like a librarian from a cartoon he watched as a child. “Hello my dear, welcome to the Ever Day Orphanage.”

    Far Away
Once upon a time, no I won’t start my story like that. Because this story is like no other you have ever read before. It all begins with a boy, a boy that was sort of misunderstood and alone in his own little bubble. In this story you will go along with him through his path to acceptance. Get ready to lace up your shoes because this story starts off with him running for his life. From what you ask...Let us find out.
Eric pants hard, shoving branches out of the way as he speeds his way through the forest. His converse cracks limbs in his path loudly as his body forces itself to push longer. His chest heaves and hurts from his rapid breathing, the howling of the dogs force him to run faster. “Why can’t they just leave me alone?” He heard his voice trail off behind him as the barking and loud howls seem to get closer. He keeps his eyes forward searching for an opening or something that could save him from his fate. Yes! Up ahead was an opening, or so he thought. He forces his feet to skid to a stop as he looked out over the ocean, he was on a cliff. His heart raced rapidly as he looked over his shoulder, raven colored hair whipping wildly over his face in the wind. It was jump, test the water or be caught by them.
Falling through the air felt like he was flying, Eric looks down watching the water grow closer and closer until…He holds his breath and crashes into the cold ocean water. Quickly he swats at the water to push himself up to the surface. As he breaks the water’s edge he gasps for air, the water would surely start to send his body into shock if he did not get moving quickly. Pushing at the water, Eric pushes his already tired body towards the shore. Resting his worn body on the sand felt good after all of that effort to run faster than a pack of Germen Sheppard dogs. Eric couldn’t stay like this for long, but he did need to catch his breath, looking up at the cliff he realizes just how far he jumped…”Damn, did I really just…” His words were cut off by a gunshot exploding in the air and a cracking sound of the sound right next to his head…They were shooting at him! He scrambles to his feet and starts sprinting towards the road, perhaps he could flag down a passing car. His bright green eyes search the road franticly as another bullet whizzes past his ear. He couldn’t wait, he takes off down the road, his worn out shoes slapping the asphalt loudly as he pushes himself as fast as he could.
Finally! A town peeks over the curve on the road, Eric made it! A car speeds past him and he is overwhelmed with an overpowering pain before his vision starts to blur, he watches the car wave a little and then go blurry too. It disappears over the hill as he feels his knees hit the ground. He looks down and touches his chest, as he pulled his hand away he saw it covered in a dark substance before his vision went black. They got him, they shot him, was he going to die now? Was this what dying felt like? He could hear his mother speaking to him “Eric, how many times must I tell you. You are fine just the way you are.” He was remembering her again…Before…she…
