In Latin class
today
we translated a story about a goddess who fell in love
with a human.
She asked Jupiter (Zeus) to make him immortal,
but the poor guy still aged and just never died.
Her solution?
Turn him into a cricket and leave him in a cave with the promise
"I'll love you always!"
