I layed back in my seat and
glanced out the window. As he drove off I
noticed the trees transforming into stop lights and
pedestrians.
Questions, I had a lot of questions in my head right now.
One, why and
how many times has he been arrested? Two, what did he have
to do
with the cop's daughter? Three, what was the point of
running around like this? I mean, couldn't we just stay
inside that majestic balcony? Why on earth did we have to
come all the way to this park just to eat some fried
chicken and powdered donuts. Another thing I didn't
understand was why I was putting up with this. Why
didn't I just tell him that I thought he was disgusting
and rude? Why didn't I want to tell him? I had no
problems with confronting people, so why was it so
difficult for me to confront Micheal?
"Drive-thru or sit-in?" He casually asked as we
drove into the parking lot.
"Sit-in." I answered.
I wasn't the biggest fan of drive-thrus. I didn't
like eating in a car. It was very problematic for me. I had
to put my drink in the holder and fries in my other hand
while I ate my burger. We got out of the car and walked
towards the entrance. It was like 1 am now so I doubted
that there would be anyone there. But, I was dumbfounded
when I spotted that nearly every table was taken. As if
that wasn't bad enough, all of them were guys.
Seriously, all of them. There were only 2 ladies, one of
them was working and the other one was me. My stomach sank
as I realized all of the atention was on me. I clutched
unto Micheal's arm and walked to the register with him.
It would be fair to think that Micheal would be pretty
intiminated being surrounded by all these men. However,
Micheal was very confident and approached the cashier with
a bright smile.
"Hi, can I get a bic-mac, large fries and large
drink." He ordered.
The cashier put in the order and smiled at Micheal
completely ignoring me.
"What would you like Ella?" He asked without
breaking eye contact with the cashier.
Oh, my, God, how could someone be such a ducheee bag? I
looked at the cashier to see if she was prettier than me
and I could honestly say she wasn't. She had a huge
nose, her lips were paper thin, and her chin was longer
than her freaking face. But, yet my dumb a$$ boyfriend was
looking at her like she was a goddess. There was no way
that Micheal was into her, how could he be into her? I mean
eww. I usually see the bright side of people but this
situation made that very difficult for
me.
"Same, I'm going to the
bathroom." I said as I let go of his arm and rushed to
the bathroom.
I quickly closed the door and glanced at the body sized
mirror stuck on the wall next to the sink. Wow, I never
looked so hot in my life. My dress was unevenly ripped at
my thighs which made my legs look long and silky. The top
of my dress looked classy and fancy along with my smooth
skin. Though my eyeliner was smudged a bit, my make up
still looked good. Altough, it was my red and black
converse and my wildly messy hair made the entire package.
Wow, I looked like Kristen Stewart and Nicole Scherzinger
had a baby and that baby was me. Now, it was all coming
together; Micheal wasn't into the cashier. He was just
trying to show me that he was the top dog and it didn't
even matter if all those guys were staring at me. Well
guess what Micheal? Two can play that game. I
thought as I boldy stepped out of the bathroom. Without
giving Micheal a glance, I walked to the higgest table in
the center of the restaurant. I sat down and crossed my
legs while slightly hanging them out towards the guys who
had obviously noticed my entrance.I didn't want to do
anything too nasty so I rested my jaw on my hand and calmy
waited for Micheal. After a twenty second wait, I snuck a
look at Micheal with the corner of my eye and it made me
furious to see the cashier giggling and twirling her hair.
I took a deep breath and thought about what I should do
next. As I heard foot steps, I realized that appearently I
didn't have to do much.
"Hey there." Oh my goodness this guy was fine.
His skin was gold and smooth glowing under his dark curly
hair. His eyes were spooky black.
"Hi." I smiled, I had completely forgotten about
Micheal now.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Ella and yours?" I asked.
"Trey Dawson, nice to meet you Ella." He shook my
hand.
"Nice to meet you too." I smiled.
He bit his lips and flashed a cricked smile. Before sweet
Trey got a chance to say anything else Micheal approached
the table with our food. He calmy placed the tray on the
table and glared at Trey.
"Micheal this is Trey, I just met him." I
cheerfully said.
"Micheal, nice to meet you." Trey politely raised
his hand to shake Micheal's but Micheal declined the
shake.
Trey awkwardly took his hand to the back of his
neck.
