So today at school
we had yearbook signing day.
The whole school was in the gym signing each other's yearbooks.
One of my friends came up to me and
said

"hey I just saw Jaime's yearbook and everything in it was about him being
too fat
too ugly
too annoying
too stupid."
...

I spent the next 10 minutes looking for him.
And I finally found him sitting right outside of the boys' bathrooms.

IN TEARS.

"Do you mind if I sign your yearbook?"
I said.

I guess he didn't want me to see him crying so he ran into bathroom
and left his yearbook laying on the floor.

I grabbed his sharpie and wrote,

"I know what it's like. Stay strong. You are beautiful in my eyes."

I walked to the outside of the boys' bathrooms and slid the open yearbook under the door.

A minute later, he came out of the

bathrooms, blood dripping from his fresh cuts, and shoved his knife into his backpack.
He looked straight at me with his wet eyes.

"I want you to know..
you just saved a life"
