yea my friend was only a few hundred feet from the bombs, and he thought it was a shooting at first and bolted... he ended up lost in a ghetto in south boston with no cell service for like 4 hours... and my moms friend was running and she got stopped at the 25th mile and ended up running an extra 7 miles to her cousins BU dorm room

they had a number up on.the news for people tocall to contact.loved ones that didnt finish the race and were at a family meeting place, hopefully hes ok and shegets in.contact with him<3333

I was two blocks away from the explosion it was one of the scariest things of my life i know some people that were injured and one of the little boys that died he was only eight things are really scary around boston its even worse if you live right here

Two teachers in my school's elementary school (they are married) went to take the race and luckily they crossed the finish line i think and hour or two before the explosion

they're saying that the cell phones could have been the reason for the bombs being set off possibly so that probably wouldn't be a good idea! This is so terrible ;( </3

My step grandma was standing ten feet away from where they say the explosion was. She left five minutes before it happen. I will definitely pray for your friend<3

There were I think 3 bombs set off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon after the guys were running. The top runners already came through so it was like the middle of the race finishing. And I think 2 people died, and there were a lot of injuries ):
