People din't have mental illnesses to be attention seeking. Even if they were (which they don't) then how sh/t has their life got to be that they need to cut themselves or whatever for attention?

Exactly. I'm a self-harmer myself but I wouldn't even admit it to my closest friend. I can tell you that the last thing you want is attention, otherwise, why would you try so hard to cover up your scars and make sure that no one finds out?

No, it's fine. Basically because of extensive bullying and insecurities and other stuff. But it's like an addiction. Once it starts taking away the pain, you can't stop. You start to like the blood, and the numbness you feel after it. It makes me feel happier for a brief period of time and stops the hurt, the voices in my head, everything. :)

I understand. Several of my friends have had/do have the same problem. These bullies obviously don't know what an awesome person they're dealing with. One of my friends called it their "depression obsession". I am so sorry that this is what it takes for you be be happy. I want to hug you so hard right now. And I'd bring TONNES of pizza, and chocolate and we'd eat it all then go to the cinema or something, because it would be cool to go bowling only it's probably really dangerous to eats tonnes of pizza and chocolate then go bowling. (I don't know where this is going, but I'll find out in a sec). Sometimes I feel like doing it or whatever, so I distract myself. It might be tumblr, a,really good book I love, just listening to music, do my nails, do some doodles, have a shower. Or, if I REALLY CANNOT RESIST I have a set of face paint crayons. I use the red one and do random lines up and down my arms or legs, then when I feel I'm done, I go back and count them, and that's how many times I DIDN'T cut.

*violently starts choking on air* (not to sound like a weird pedo or anything, but) OMFG I LIVE IN THAT AREA TOO AND MY FRIEND LOVES OSIRIS AND HAWKINS BAZAAR HAS TWO SHOPS IN GLASGOW IF YOUR INTERESTED AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND AN ONLINE FRIEND NOT ONLY IN THE SAME TIME ZONE AS ME BUT ALSO THE SAME AREA OF THE SAME COUNTRY OMFG THIS IS DESTINY.
