Yeah, I usually see quotes on here where americans would post about 'british' accents (which is really English) and some scottish users would complain :L

I know this annoys me so much because I'm Scottish and some (note: not all) Americans don't seem to consider Scotland a part of Britian. I want to America, and a girl said to me "oh, I love your accent, are you British?" I replied with "mm, Scottish." She then said "oh, I could have sworn you were British!" And I kinda just went "haha yeah." -_-
