Chapter 24

I stood in front of the door for a moment, before fighting my nerves and knocking. I waited a moment before slowly opening the door. I peaked in a saw Liam, sitting on the edge of his bed, his head resting in his plams.
"Liam?"
I said, as he looked up and saw me. He stared in awe for a moment, before slowly getting up.
"Carly... I'm soo.."
"Liam stop,"
I said cutting him off.
"You don't need to be sorry, none of this is your fault! I still love you and you should know that!"
I yelled, just trying to get my point across. He took a step closer to me before opening his mouth.
"This is my fault! I could have prevented it! I could have made you feel more wanted! I love you more than anything! And I barely showed it!"
He yelled, as tears started to fall down his face. I took a step closer.
"Liam. Stop. Its not your fault, its mine. I'm way too insecure and I can't help it..."
"Carly you are the most beautiful girl I have every met! Your perfect in every way and it kills me to see you in so much pain! Just because your father took advantage of you doesn't mean your worthless!"
I felt the tears started to drip down my cheek and onto the floor and he continued.
"Carly, you should never had gone through that. He might have made you feel like you were worthless, but I'm going to treat you like the princess you are."
He ended, I tried to hold back my sobs but I couldn't. I closed my eyes and felt Liam pull me into his embrace. His warm arms wrapped around my and rubbed my back, soothing me. We stayed there for what was maybe 5 minuties before I heard Liam's soft whisper.
"I love you Carly."
"I love you too Liam."
I whispered back, before looking up at him, our faces both soaked with tears, but he pulled me in for a passionite kiss anyways.
