I understand what you're saying, but it's untrue that people carry guns for "no reason". People use it for protection. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

there is no such thing as carrying a gun for no reason. there is always the chance something goes wrong throughout the day where you will need the gun. my dad has a concealed weapons permit and my brother is a cop, so he carries guns all the time. and it makes me feel safer to know if something happened to us, that they could do something about it. plus the guns used in the columbine and this past shooting were both not theirs and used illegally. criminals dont care about rules, they will find a way around them. gun control is not going to help the problem.

We have reasons for carrying guns. When our country was fighting for independence, we needed to be able to form malitias. Thomas Jefferson wanted the right to keep and bare arms to be the Second Amendment in our Constitution. That's our reason. Thomas Jefferson knows what he's talking about.

The Bill of Rights is not going to change! And do you really think even if it was, anyone who would kill kindergarteners would listen? He's not going to turn in his gun and say, "Oh here you go, it's illegal to own these now." The Second Amendment is fine the way it is. It doesn't say everyone can walk around brandishing guns that they got through illegal gun trade. It says you can keep guns with a permit. "We the People" is our democracy. That's the way it's going to stay.
