My teacher confirmed that
"OMG" has officially been added
into the Oxford English Dictionary.

Perfect. Because 500 years from now, we totally want people to be looking through the dictionary and thinking to themselves, "'Ahmg'? What is this... 'ahmg'?"

I don't think that it's that big of a deal. It's just commonly used slang. If some foreigner comes over, purchases a dictionary, and hears somebody say "OMG," it might help this person to know what it means.
