Lol, it's not their fault. When will you people realize it's the fact of which enviorment the grew up in. It's the parents that gave him the ipad. He's five he doesn't know better, he's just starting to remember things. People keep blaming the wrong people for this, smh.

Yes! My thoughts exactly, Char! People are like "when I was 12, I didn't have ___. I had ___" and most of the time, I'm like "I didn't have what you said you have and I'm not complaining! It's not the fault of the kiddies (unless they demanded it themselves. In which case, the parents still don't know how to teach their kids)." and if you think about it, we've grown up with stuff muuuch better than previous generations. New clothes, toys, etc.

I completely understand that it's the environment in which he's growing up; I'm neither blaming him nor his parents for the action, but rather the society around, I suppose. Besides, it's a quote on Witty that was made to be taken lightly. The kid's my best friend's little brother; I love him to death, and found the situation amusing. I understand what you're saying, though.

See, I understand books, but why do kids today have a need to always be using technology? Even me, why do I always have to have my phone near me? It's kinda sad.
