Chapter 16

Louis P.O.V

I woke up that morning feeling anxious.
No more then anxious. Beyond anxious.
It's 3:00 in the morning here in London and i'm flying out to see Madeline in 30 minutes. I only live 10 minutes away from the airport so I decided to take a quick shower. I quickly hopped out of the shower and packed my things. The boys and Management didn't know I was leaving. Our next concert isn't until 2 days. What could go wrong? I drove to the airport arriving just on time. I was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses. At three in the morning. Oh well. I hopped onto the plane and and looked for my seat.I found my seat and next to me was a little girl who looked about seven. She won't even notice me, shes to busy on her ipod.
"Welcome! We will be arriving to our destination in 5 hours! if you need anything please lets us know!" The flight attendant said. 5 hours? Not bad. I looked over to the girl playing on her ipod. She had headphones on and was humming to something. I looked at her screen and there I was. Or should I say, there I was with the boys.
She was listening to I Want.
She was so cute I couldn't help it. I tapped on her shoulder. "Hello there love how are you?" I said. She pulled out her headphones and looked up. Then back at her screen. Then back up. "Are you-" she tried to say but obviously couldn't. "Him?" I said pointing to me on the screen. "Yes I am" I said smiling. Her jaw dropped and she gave me a hug. Oh my god shes just to adorable I thought. She let go of me and sat back down in her seat. "I have to move and make a new best friend" She said frowning. I took out my phone. "Can we take a picture?" I asked. She nodded her head. I took the photo on my phone and her ipod and we both set it as our screensavers. "I will be your bestfriend" I said. She smiled "Really?" she asked. "Of course!" I said. A hour later she fell asleep on my shoulder and I talked to her mother. "That was very sweet of you" She said tears in her eyes. "Did she tell you we're moving?" She asked "Yes she did" I replied
"Did she tell you why?" she asked the tears beginning to fall from her face. "Please don't cry love. Why are you moving?"
"Doctors don't think shes going to live very much longer.
She has Cancer"

Madeline's P.O.V
(5 hours later)

I wasn't planning on waking up at eight in the morning because I love to sleep. But Louis' text had woken me up.
"Hey Madeline. The airport has some of my luggage I lost would you mind picking it up? Now?!xx"
I moaned and got out of bed. I checked in the mirror. I looked 'decent' enough to go outside. It was just the airport. I hopped in the car and got to the airport and walked in.
"Where do I pick it up?" I texted Louis.
I shoved my phone in my pocket and saw that there was a Starbucks on the other side of the airport. I walked into Starbucks to see a man ordering.
It can't be.
I don't want to just ask.
What if it's not him?
"Jacob?"

oh my god I haven't posted in more then a week.
Hate me now.
If I dont get 14+ favs i think i might stop:/
I'm really busy and some people just stop reading.
Anyways this past weekend I ran a 5k for kids with Cancer.
My cousin died of Cancer when he was 6 so I am obviously thinking of him.
