Yes exactly. From my own experiences I know that if I'm not included in group activities, I sorta feel worthless or less important, and I know that special ed students get left out more often just because of there health issues. So that fact that my class cheers him on and includes him in things, it makes him feel good, like he is worth something to us. But to be honest, that isn't entirely what this quote should be focused on. It should be more focused on the fact that even the big football stars are self less people and don't judge people about things they can't control. My gym class inspires me everyday to not judge someone and to include everyone because we are all equally important no matter what.

Agreed with @OwlsInColour why wouldn't he be worth something?
I mean you said, "Like he is worth something" why wouldn't he be? He's a normal person just like everyone else.

wow i wish guys at my school were like that, we have a special ed kid in our gym class and they threw a dodge ball at his head and they all act like jerks :/
