The ocean isn't actually salty because of whale ... It's from minerals, as xHello said. Also, even if it WAS whale , it would be impossible for another organism to get pregnant from it.

Actually, the saltiness of the sea comes from dissolved minerals, especially sodium, chlorine, sulfur, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Do you really think that there is enough recurrent and fresh Whale to keep the ocean salty? The water would dilute it's taste of salt, and so would other things..
