i just read this quote to my mom because i thought she would like it. she started crying. my grandma had alzheimer and didnt remember her 6 kids, grand kids, and husband. i hope things get better for your grandma. i honestly do<3

My grandmother died of alzheimer on saturday :/ It's a long tough illness. but my grandmother was the same way she forgot everything but she always loved my grandfather. such an amazing thing but an awful illness. hang in there! always remember her for her not her illness. stay strong xx

Thank you for all the comments and the fave guys:) I'm very sorry for all the sad stories you told me here, but just think that love power is bigger than power of the disease. my grandma had that!! and thats exactly what happened!! the day she died she opened her eyes my grandpa told her i love you and she closed her eyes and that was it..5 days before my birthday she passed...worst birthday ever...watching my family pretend to be happy for me was crap...RIP MARGARET KARPINSKI <3 10-15-12 I LOVE YOU

oh my gosh mine too. but my grandpa died 10 years ago and today she still asks where he is even though she doesn't remember us or her house or anything. she doesn't always remember he died either and we don't tell her if she asks because then she will start crying :\

my grandma has alzheimers too and it's the same thing. she loves my grandpa so much and you can still see it. it's amazing what love can do. i know how hard it is. it brings tears to my eyes that she doesn't remember anyone. stay strong girl <3.
