I thought witty was a place to be free? People that don't believe in God say it disappoints them or is offensive when there are Godly quotes on here, well when you say God isn't real and how stuff like this is offensive that hurts us, you shouldn't be able to express your opinion and express your beliefs without being judged, but judge us for expressing our opinions and beliefs and think it's okay, that's not fair. People's religions and what they believe is what makes them who they are, no one has a right to say that it's wrong or that it's offensive, it's what they believe in, no one is saying you have to believe in it too. Everyone has equal rights and has a right to believe in what they want and express it to others if they want to as well. If our going to give this poor girl hate about it, go somewhere else. People say Witty is a place to be free and be who you are, it seems more like a place to be judged and hated for who you are and what you believe. Also about the spelling mistakes, is it really that big of a deal? So what she spelled believe wrong and didn't capitalize the G in God. People make mistakes, she's only human. Before you correct her look at yourself because I'm pretty sure no one is perfect and everyone has made mistakes, not one person can say they are perfect, making mistakes is a way of life, so just get over it. Also to all those hating on her who believe in God, really? Being Godly is helping others and accepting them and sharing and spreading the love of God, it's not very Godly to disrespect and treat someone poorly over a spelling error is it? No it's not, it's the exact opposite. All this girl wanted to do was see who believes in God, so give her a break! I think everyone has a right to their own opinion, but if you've got nothing nice to say don't say it, it's common courtesy, so respect her, she's got a right to her own opinion, don't judge or disrespect her for it.

everyone the quote simply said fav this if you believe in God. i didnt ask to start a religious war or start drama. if you dont believe in God then dont fav it. if i made a mistake in typing then just get over it. everyone makes mistakes so just stop commenting please.

ok guys people that are saying stuff about spelling mistakes can get over therself....im proud of this person for making this quote because shes showing people that god is real and he loves everyone so allllll you people out there who claim they are christians and beleive in god obviously need a major reality check!!!! if you truly loved and believed you would love this quote k? thanks:)

even though i believe in God, it's sort of pathetic how you're trying to get faves over this. Everyone has something different to believe in...they don't all believe in God because they have different religions. I'm also not faving this because I believe in God and i don't have to show that i do by faving this quote..God already knows I do. oh and it's spelt "beliEve" and God is spelt with a CAPITAL letter* not trying to start anything but I'm just saying. kbye

I agree with xxmchildressxx. Not everyone is catholic or Christian. Witty is a place for people to be different and so by making quotes like this that are excluding people from other religions I upsetting to me, even though I do believe. There are people who don't believe in god. No one should be left out in witty

I love God. I believe in Him. But those of you commenting on this quote saying that you DO believe, but have the nerve to criticize spelling mistakes? What message are you sending to nonbelivers? That we're petty and judgemental? No. Yes, I agree that God should be capitialized, but as Christians we're supposed to accept people for who they are, faults and all, just like God does. Spread the love, not the hate.

Okay uh. Well,
1. why would anyone who doesn't being in the Christian god be offended by this? Just because it's not applicable doesn't mean it's trying to exclude you. If that were the case, you would theoretically be offended by churches, too.
2. This quote is evidently exploiting the Christian god for favorites, which is kind of just annoying.

I'm sorry but all of you that are offended by this quote because you don't believe in God, I really don't understand why you are so upset. It is your choice not to believe in Him and you probably have people all around you telling you there is a God. I don't understand why you have a problem for someone stating that they believe in God because now you are stating that you don't. It was not meant to offend you it was just a quote.

Okay... I'm not trying to be a hater to anyone but everyone that is saying this is a stupid quote, it wouldn't be the 2nd most popular quote. Yes, she made a couple mistakes when she was writing it, but who cares. Everyone makes mistakes, how would you feel if you made a top quote and then u just looked at all the comments and they were all saying bad things about it? Get over it, if your gonna comment just to complain about the quote, dont waste your time.

I don't believe in god and this is very hurtful to me. It makes me feel like I don't belong here. It's kind of disappointing that this is one of the top quotes... I thought this was a place that you are encouraged to be different. I'm sure this is not what you intended but throwing people out like this, isn't right...
