Chapter 15
Andrea's P.O.V
I arrived home and when I got into the hotel room in which I'd be sharing with my parents, I expected to be questioned and then grounded though they weren't even there. I checked the time, it was 3:47am. I sighed, pulling on my pyjamas and going to bed. My phone beeped, signalling I had a new message.
'Good night, beautiful,' was all it read. It was from Alec, we had exchanged numbers. I fell asleep soon after receiving the message, my conversation with Jesse back at the apartment was the only thing on my mind. His face, so emotionless, so hard. It was hard to think of him loving.
I woke up late the next day and my parents had left a note on their bed, 'Going out for some lunch with some people we met. Love mum and dad.' At least they were going out. I pulled on some clothes and texted Alec.
'You busy today?'
Almost immediately my phone beeped and I checked the message. 'I've got school, catch a cab to the school at 3 and I'll take you somewhere :)'
'Ok, have fun!' I had totally forgotten that the school year was different in America. The time read 1:23. I had two hours to do something and I didn't know what to do. A couple of minutes later, I decided to explore the resort.

As Alec said, I caught a cab to the school he had told me to and waiting impatiently for Alec to come out. Kids, dressed in all different types of clothing started coming outside. Wow, this school was big. My high school, only had about 500 people and I knew just about everyone. Somebody tapped my back and I jumped, I span around to see a grinning Ryan.
“What are you going here?” he asked.
“I'm waiting for som-” my sentence was cut off when I saw Alec.
“Hey Andi!” he chirped. A brunette came and wrapped his arms around Alec, kissing the side of his lip. That must be the famous Drake, Alec told me about yesterday.
“Andi, how do you know him?” Ryan asked, clearly confused.
“I met him,” I responded briefly. Ryan looked at something behind me and his eyes widened, I turned to see Jesse getting into a car. Ryan didn't even say bye or anything before running towards him and they spoke.
“Do you want to leave?” Alec asked.
“Yeah... sure,” I said.
Once we got into the car, Alec introduced me to Drake who was sitting in the passenger seat. “Was that the Jesse you told me about?” I was questioned by Alec.
“Yes.”
“He's been off all day, maybe he's regretting what he said to you,” Alec told me.
“I doubt it,” I sighed. How was it that Jesse could be the biggest jerk to me ever and I still have feelings for him?
When we got to Alec's house, Drake had came out of his shell and was much more hype. “Where are your parents?”
“Oh, they're at work.” My phone rang, abruptly. I didn't recognise the number, though.
“Hello,” I answered.
“Andi, it's Ryan.”
“Ryan? Huh? How'd you get my number?”
“I'll explain everything later, I promise, but I need you to catch to come to my apartment right now.” There was urgency and panic in his voice.
“Why?!”
Ryan was breathing very heavily, “It's Jesse.”
A million scenarios ran through my mind, what was wrong with Jesse?
