Chapter 7
Steven

It's been three months and we still haven't found one clue that could help us find the cure. People are starting to argue with each other for stupid reasons. Children are starting to get sick and we don't have much time before this disease becomes airborne and gets to us all. Jackson is starting to get anxious to shoot down every Feite and call it a day. I know its wrong and they're just innocent people who got sick but, I'm starting to think the same thing. I've been making weapons specialized to kill these infected people. But Lily says that these weapons are only to be used as a last resort and I should make weapons that inject the future cure into the infected. The only problem is that we haven't found a cure yet. Its been really rough lately between us. We almost never see each other because either she's too busy with her work or I am. Every time I see her, she looks so tired and sleepless. I do too of course but I still feel bad. She's been letting students work in her dorm room and she never gets sleep. The only time I do get to see her is when she comes up to my room and we test the new serums on the rats in my bathroom. Yes, I have like 50 rats in my bathroom. Don't ask. They were there when I moved in. So far, nothing. I'm starting to question why I'm even here trying to save the same people that feared and hunted me. Especially when I have to tolerate Jackson's constant put downs and "short" comments. I'm surprise that idiot hasn't yet recognized the person who slashed his faced years ago. I mean, who on earth would not recognize my eyes and point me out on the spot? It's like my past existence just vanished. Whatever. The only thing I'm thinking about is finding the cure. But I'm just tired.
I'm sitting at my desk trying to assemble a new weapon that we could use but I think I'm just trying to stay awake. I sigh and look over to Bynx. He's been awake with me the whole time. I wonder what goes through his mind sometimes. I stroke his fur and he yawns and presses his small head under my chin,"It seems you're the only one that I can talk to when I need to, Blue."I whisper as he Bynx sits on my lap and looks up. It's like this cat never ages. He's been with me for like 7 years and he's still a kitten. Weird but I don't question it. I need him right now and probably forever.
Just then, I here the elevator come up and I see the doors open and in comes Lily smiling.
"Hiya," I say as she walks in with something behind her back,"whatcha got there? If I may ask."
"You don't know what today is, don't you?"
"Sorry. Uhhh it's Friday right?" I say hopelessly confused.
Lily shakes her head laughing,"Okay. One. It's Saturday. Two..,"she pulls out a small cake with the number 20 candles,"Happy Birthday."
"Damn, it's my birthday already?" I laugh as she sets the cake down in the kitchen. And run back and wraps her arms around my neck and gives me a hug,"Thanks Lily. You didn't have to do this, yanno."
"Yeah well I guess I'm just that awesome." She says grinning.
I chuckle,"You are SO conceited,"I said winking.
"Hey you're still friends with me so there's something you have to like about me." she says as she looks at what's on my desk,"Are you making weapons still? I thought I told you to make injection-y guns."
I smile,"Injection-y guns?"
"Shut up you know what I mean." she laughs.
"Yeah I know you did. I'm just waiting for a cure. And on top of that," I say as I get up from my chair and put Bynx in my shirt. I walk over to the cake and Lily follows,"I was talking to President Richard today."
Lily's expression became worried,"What did he say?"
I sigh," The disease is spreading. It's in in Asia right now. The Feites managed to travel up through Canada, and crossed over the land bridge between Alaska and Asia. Its in Russia, and China and etc." I run my fingers through my hair,"We don't have much time."
Lily starts to tear up," I feel like it's all over for us." she shakily whispers,"Steven, we have to do something."
I wipe a tear away and fix her bangs,"Hey, don't cry on me, now. I'm too old for this." I said sarcastically.
Lily puts her head on my shoulder and I hold her,"You are so annoying." she softly laughs.
"Yeah well. I'm not the best person to be with when someone cries." I say,"Don't worry. We are going to find a cure. We're all in this together." I sing cracking.
Lily shoves a slice of cake in my mouth laughing,"Okay Mr. High School Musical."
I swallow,"What was that for? Mmmmm good cake."
"To shut you up," Lily says grinning as she eats some cake,"like it?"
I eat more,"It's pretty good but this doesn't come often to me."
She shrugs and reaches into her labcoat pocket and takes out a vile of purple bubbling liquid,"Ready to test this one birthday boy?"
"Lets do it."
"TO THE BATHROOM!"

I know it's kinda boring but I needed to at least get through this chapter. XD

Chapter 6
Lily

Last thing I can remember is being attacked by Steven's nasty laundry. I don't know if I was dreaming or not but I was being man-handled by to small robots and then I felt Steven's fingers running through my hair. Huh. Pretty good dream.
I wake up to an ice cold feeling on the side of my head and see Steven sitting beside me smiling,"Rise and shine sleepy head," he said softly. I try to sit up but I wince in pain and feel a huge lump on my head,"Woah woah. Your not getting up if it hurts that bad." Steven said as I lay back down.
"What happened?," I asked dizzily. I look around the room and fine myself in this futuristically massive sized bed and I see a hovering plasma and the walls were reflecting light making the room look almost magical,"Is this real?"
Steven laughed. He was in a striped dark blue long sleeve shirt that he rolled up halfway up his arms revealing amazing patterns of black tattoos on his left arm. He was wearing baggy black jeans and his usual black and neon green kicks and his silver pendant. The magical lights made his lime green eyes shine like the Northern Lights. His hair was damp and fell straight down his head.,"Don't worry. You're not going crazy, this is all real." He said getting up and stretching,"Your snoring kept me up ALL NIGHT," he sarcastically complained.
I blushed,"I snore?"
"And drool."
My face got hot,"Oh my god. Hehe sorryy."
Steven looked at me and then winked,"I kid. But you do drool," he chuckled.
I throw a pillow at him,"You love to irritate me even when I get knocked out. I know I drool. Its a defect."
"Its a cute defect," he says smiling,"aaaaand you getting decked was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!"
"Shut.Up." I said getting up. I realized that I wasn't in my clothes. I was wear purple sweats, and a white t-shirt,"Uhh. Any answer to how you managed to change my clothing?" I also noticed my hair was washed and smelled like cherries,"Okay. What did you do last night and am is there a chance that I might be pregnant?" I asked completely creeped out.
Steven looked like he was going to wet his pants from laughing,"Hahaha! I need to introduce you to two little friends of mine." He turned to the door,"Glytch! D-trix! Come in here she's awake." After he called out to them, two little robots hovered into the room. One was more cube shaped and was designed with red markings and the other was more circular with blue designs. One of them crossed its bionic arms and checked me out and nodded and then the other hit him upside the head.
"Oh my God...you're the robots that man-handled me in my dream." I said slowly. Then my eyes widened,"Wait....so you two changed my cothes and cleaned me up?"
The cubic robot was still staring at me awkwardly and the circular robot saluted. Steven kicked the cubic robot and then winked,"Hey. Respect, D-trix." D-trix looked up and gave him thumbs up and he laughed and looked at me. The circular robot, Glytch, face-palmed and shook his head.
"What?" I asked confused.
Steven and D-trix exchanged looks and grinned. I think I saw Steven blush a bit,"It's nothing." he said looking down to his feet.
I felt my face turn red-hot,"OH MY...you didn't see anything did you?" I studdered.
Steven laughed,"Nothing that bad, I can tell you that." D-trix was nodding like a boss amd Glytch slapped him again.
"DUDE!" I squeaked,"Not cool! What did that little midget do?! And what did you see?"
Steven waved off the questions and left the room. I followed him out and crossed my arms shooting him a look as he relaxed on a black velvety couch,"What?"
"You know 'What'!" I yell,"What did you see?"
Steven sighed and got up and looked me straight in the eyes and I found myself frozen. He smiled,"I asked them to clean you up so I could tuck you in. D-trix, yanno the perverted one, put you in this cherry red laced lingerie--"
"Wait WHAT?" I interupted, blushing like crazy.
"Hey. Let me finish. When I saw you in it, I told Glytch to take over and put you in something more nice and not so slutty. And here you are."
"Oh....soo you immediatly ordered them to change me or..? Was it 'cause I looked stupid?" I asked slowly.
Steven turned red and looked down covering his face with his hair,"Are we seriously going into this?"
"Oh come on! Was I that ugly?"
"No no no. You were good looking."
"Oh my god YOU PERVERT." I yelled at him playfully. I realized that we were both blushing and just played along.
"Shut it, wiseass! Look, I didn't see your...whatevers," he said feeling awkward,"you looked nice for the second I looked at you. But," he looked at me. I think he finally accepted the fact that his face was as red as a stopsign,"I think you looked a LOT better in sweats and a t-shirt. There I said. I'm free. I have purged."
I laughed pushing him back onto the couch,"You are sucha perverted player." I said playfully.
He laughed,"Whatever. I can't win in this subject."
I get all my things, and say goodbye to the robots. Then I walk up to the elevator doors and Steven follows me. When we get to the doors, he looks at me squinting his eyes,"Is you hair always straight? I usually see you with curly hair."
I run my fingers through my naturally straight hair and realize that its not curled,"Uh yeah," I say,"I know it doesn't look that good."
Steven scanned his thumb and the elevator doors opened. I walk into the elevator without a word. Steven grins,"I don't know about that. I think it looks good straight. Now have a nice day as Head of Chemical Serums! I'll be working around the school. If you need me to help you just call."
"Haha thanks. And I will find the cure, you just wait." I said smiling.
"Good to hear. Oh! Hold on to something. I don't want you to be unconsious again." Steven said sticking out his tongue.
"Haha very funny." I said sarcastically sticking my tongue out. I press the button to head down to the lobby and brace myself for the ride.

Chapter 5
Steven

Okay. THAT was a close one. I thought as I went down to the lobby. I look down at Bynx. He was looking at me like he was scared of what happened years ago. Honestly, I am too. If anyone knew who I was, I'd be shot on the spot. "Don't worry. No one's hunting us here." I said under my breath. He didn't seem reassured and kept staring at me with his crystal blue eyes. They reminded me so much about my older brother. God I miss him. Its my fault, I told myself, It's all my fault.
By the time I realized that I was at the closet door, Lily had caught up to me and she looked concerned. "What?" I asked.
"You look like your gonna start crying."she said worried,"Are you okay, Steven?" Her bangs drooped over her deep blue eyes which annoyed her so much because her hands full with the rest of my stuff. I brushed them the way she likes them with my hand,"Thanks. They annoy the crap out of me,"she said,"so you're not going to answer my question?"
"Can we get my stuff in my tiny room first? I'll answer any question, k? And I'm okay just tired." I said scanning my thumb prints at the door. All of a sudden, the scanner went from black to green and in black letters it said WELCOME NIGHT. I spazzed out putting my back to the scanner before Lily could see anything.
"Uhh are you taking some medication or something 'cause you're acting odd." Lily said dubiously.
I smiled as if nothing was wrong,"Oh nothing! Nothing! Let's just head in now," I said donkey kicking the door opened revealing a titanium made small elevator. Lily's eyes widened,"Damn...Prof.Rob really knows howda decorate his elevators.."
"Why am I not surprised..?" I said as we walked in. A yellow sticky note caught my eye. I put down my things and walked over to a voice control-looking thing. Over it was the yellow note. It said:
"Hello my boy! I know this is probably very weird but I expected the Feite to bite me. So, if I you are reading this, I am INFECTED haha! Anyway, you should be the new director and you will be researching and working in my room. Now, this elevator is voice activated. All you have to say is "DARKEST LIGHT". Have fun and work hard! I better not die from this. Sincerely, Robby."
Hmm seemed easy enough, I thought. I take the note and put it in my pocket. I pressed a red button next to the MIC and whispered the password. Suddenly, the elevator started to shake and my things were flying around the tight area. A bag hit Lily and knocked her out flat on the ground and Bynx jumped out of my shirt. A suitcase decked me and I saw stars. When, the quaking stopped a computer voice came through the MIC,"You have now reached your destination: Floor 101. Have a nice evening, Shade."
I winced at the name. Why is he using all my names?! Is he trying to get me killed? Lily was still unconscious. "Great. I have to carry you in too?" I said sarcastically to myself as I lifted the bag that fell on top of her. Of course my laundry would knock anyone out but this was actually pretty amusing to me. I heard a meow and I turn to see Bynx trot into the new room. I left Lily resting on the floor and found another note on what looking like a switch. It said:
"Yes, DO NOT flip the switch unless you want to die in a fiery explosion...just saying. This room is thumb print activated. There are scanners and voice devices that you will use. To turn on the lights, say "Lights On". You'll get the idea. Sincerely, Robby."
"Alrighty then, not touching that switch. Lights On." The pitch black room suddenly came to life. It was like something you would see in spy movies. It was all teched out and HUGE. Luxury furniture, the titanium plated walls reflected light sporting a "Northern Lights" effect on the whole room. It was amazing. Enough said. I saw Bynx already making himself at home as he meowed and a bionic arm placed a bowl of milk on the floor for him,"Smart cat..." I said. I grabbed all of my stuff and put it in my spacious room. I walked in and immediately two little robots took my things and in a split second they put everything away neatly. I was awestruck at this point. There was an 80 inch plasma hovering in the air. My bed was like "Fat Emperor Sized" with two fluffed pillows and black sheets (which were just made by the Midget Robots that fit to my style of clothing). I tried walking out of my room when all of a sudden the midgets grabbed me and changed my clothing so I was wearing black shorts and a black long sleeve shirt,"Uhh thanks little dude.." I said to the Midget that saluted to me in satisfaction.
Now...what was I forgetting? OH! Lily! I forget her in the elevator! "Oh yeah! Unconscious girl!" I said walking up to a sleeping girl on the elevator floor,"Aww. You look so peaceful when you're knocked out." I laughed watching her drool. I wiped it off with my sleeve and then picked her up. Lily's head leaned against my chest and her arms were crossed. I walked her into my room and lay her on my bed. "Little dudes?" I called out. They came in and saluted to me,"Hey guys, you think you can change her clothes?" I requested. They both zip up onto the bed and I turn around and wait for their okay. When I here them beep I turn around and my face gets red-hot and my eyes widen,"You put her...in lingerie.." I stuttered. One of the midget robots gave me two robo thumbs up. I'm still keeping myself from looking at her,"Change her! Put her in pj's please." I turned around again. When I heard them beep and I turn to see a girl with shiny blonde hair, wearing purple sweatpants and a white short sleeve shirt. The robots look at me for approval,"Perfect." I say,"Thanks guys. I appreciate it," I turn to the perverted robot,"You my little friend would be a perfect Victoria's Secret fashion designer, you little perve." I winked. The robot gave me a thumbs up again I laughed.
After they left the room, I tucked in Lily and sat beside her, watching her sleep. I fixed her bangs again,"Haha. Goodnight, Lingerie Girl." I whispered. I got up left the bedroom,"Lights Off..."

Chapter 4
Lily's POV

Have you ever had a friend that is the most annoying and childish person on the planet but you couldn't live without? Yeah. Steven is that friend. At first I thought he was kind of freaky and weird, but once you got past the outside, he was one of the smartest and caring people you'll ever know. But honestly, I still have so many questions to ask him. Like; What's with your creepy eyes? I swear they like glow in the dark or something! Crazy.. and what was Kacey talking about when she said she knows what he's done? and so much more.
When I walked into Steven's room, I wasn't surprised that it was a complete mess. It looked worse than what Prof.Robinson did to the lab. There was clothes all over the place, his bed wasn't made, there was a chair knocked down in the middle of the room, and I think Steven just got lost in his own bathroom(I don't even want to look in there...). Suddenly, I felt something crawl between my legs. Shivers went up my spine as I felt a tail hit my calf. I held my breath and looked down. "Oh thank god," I relaxed as I small little black furball stretched out and yawned,"hey Bynx."
"Meow" Bynx said looking up with his crystal blue eyes.
"Steven," I called,"I don't know if you noticed but pets or animals of any kind are not allowed on campus."
A massive bag squeezed through the bathroom doorway,"Your point?"he muffled trying to keep balanced. As he wobbled through the room, he just missed the chair but slipped on a pair of boxers,"holy crap! I almost died." He threw the huge bag onto his mess of a bed and then went over to his desk, the only thing in his room that wasn't a complete mess.
"Do you ever clean this place?" I asked kicking a sock under his bed and watching Bynx chase it.
"I do...sometimes..." he said as he carefully took out all his paperwork out of his drawer,"Sorry. I would've cleaned it sooner if I knew you were coming in here."
"It's cool," I said,"I see you take your work seriously?"
"mmhm." He mumbled fidgeting with some metal pieces. He took of his lab-coat and folded it up neatly and put it in a black suitcase that he got from under his desk. I noticed something different about him. Steven took his school work like it was his career. I also noticed black markings around his wrists and starting up the side of his neck. Tattoos? I don't know. He was wearing black as always. Black long sleeve shirt, black jeans, black spiked bracelet, and black and neon green kicks. He always wore his pendent necklace. It had some sort of writing on it but I never asked about it. After putting all his work in his suitcase, Steven yawned and stretched like Bynx did and checked his watch,"2am.." he mumbled to himself. He ran his fingers through his jet-black hair and looked at me, his skin was somewhat dark and in the dim light, his lime-green eyes shined. You could see stubbles on his face from forgetting to shave and bags were visible under his eyes. "Hey. Lily. Are you listening?" He asked.
"Wait what?" I stuttered.
"Are you okay? Your just standing there staring at me...?"
I felt my face get hot. Was I seriously staring at him the whole time? "What? I can't zone out? Sorry...I didn't mean to be staring at you."
Steven smiled,"Whatever. You mind helping me carry my stuff to my closet room thing? I'll let you sleep in the excuse of a bed that could actually fit there. I got stuff to do anyway."
"Uh..sure," I said,"can I ask you something? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"Sure. Go ahead." He turned back to his desk to get his laptop.
"Umm," I started,"what did Kacey mean back there?"
Steven froze,"What do you mean...?"
"She said she know what you've done...?" I regret asking that question,"Sorry. You don't have to answer.."
He took a breath and put his hand to his forehead,"Nows not a good time to tell you," he turned around and his eyes were pinkish,"Its a long story."
"I'm sorry.." I apologized.
"Why are you sorry?" He asked.
"I don't know...I just am. I shouldn't have asked you the question."
Steven looked at me for a couple seconds before speaking,"It's fine. Don't worry about it." I smiled,"Now let's go. It's already extremely late."
"Okay. Steven?," I asked as he walked out the door.
"Yupp?" he answered turning around.
"How are we gonna get Bynx passed security?"
I noticed Stevens chest moving than a little black head poked out his shirt,"Does this answer your question?" He asked grinning like a kid again.
"Yeah. Yeah it does and you have problems..." I said shaking my head.
"Hey you're friends with me..."
"True..." I said as I followed him out the door.

The Unforeseen
Chapter 3

After the assembly, Lily and I walked out of the auditorium. I noticed people were staring at me like there was a man-eating squid donkey thing behind me. I hated that. As a kid, everyone at my school stared at me and made fun of me because of my eyes. They thought my eyes were "scary" and probably thought I was a child circus acted.
Lily felt my discomfort,"Don't worry, just keep walking."
We were on our way to bed when we heard swift and proper footsteps coming behind us and we knew instantly who it was.,"HEY STEVEN!!" a mousy annoying voice called out,"You don't have to take stairs to go to your room anymore!"
"What they have and elevator?" I asked sarcastically but curious.
I turned around to see a slim girl with wavy brown hair and brown eyes. She was standing with her hip out and her finger to her lip. She is one of the most annoying girls on campus. What was her name...? Oh yeah, Kacey Mendez. I gave a polite smile and tried to stop my eye from twitching. Oh no! Not this one again! I thought. She laughed hysterically,"No silly!," she squeaked,"Since you're the new Head Director, you get Prof.Robinson's room!! It's right over there." She gestured to the janitor's closet next to the bathrooms.
Great I get to live in a janitor's closet. I thought,"uhh...k? Can I at least get my stuff?" I said thinking about how I'm going to fit everything and myself into a closet. Maybe they took out the cleaning supplies and made like a 3 foot bed..? I don't know. I just hope she was pointing at the wrong thing.
"Sure! But be quick because I'm getting your old one!" she squealed jumping up and down like a child.
Something came to my mind,"Who said that you can have my room?" I asked.
Kacey's expression harden,"I wanted it so I asked."
"There's nothing wrong with your room so I wanna give my room to someone who needs it." I said firmly.
"Oh really?" She said with attitude,"Like who?"
This astonished me. I gave her a 'Are you blind?!' expression and pointed to the people in the hallway. They were sleeping on the cold hard floor because the cafeteria and gym were full. I felt bad for them. I mean you can fit six people in a single room.
"Oh come on Steven,"she said flicking my forehead,"I know about you. What you did. You could careless about these people. I think this just the power rushing to your head." She came closer to me,"Maybe you just need a release from all this stress."She whispered in my ear loud enough for people to still hear her. She batted her eyes and bite her lip.
I grinned,"The only release I need is from you."
She gasped and slapped me across the face,"You are the most mean and selfish boy everrr!!" She said stomping off.
I almost forgot that Lily was standing on the stairs. She was keeping herself from laughing and had her arms folded,"Well...THAT was interesting,"she said, "girlfriend?"
I made a gagging sound,"Haahahahahaaa that was a funny joke."
"Your so nice." she said punching my arm.
"OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!" I screamed falling on the floor holding my arm.
"Oh my God!! I'm soooo sorry!!" Lily said trembling,"I didn't know it would hurt that bad!"
I stopped and smirked,"It doesn't hurt that bad."
She kicked me,"You think you're so charming, don't you?" She said laughing.
"A little bit yes," I said getting up,"Now let's go get my junk before some other psycho besides you attacks me." I ran up the stairs and into the hallway and made a sharp right into my room.
Lily laughed,"Feeling the love." She said following me.
I poked my head out the doorway and stuck out my tongue,"No problem!"

The Unforeseen
Chapter 2

"Settle down!! I'm not finished just yet!!!" someone screeched.
I was shook awake by Lily,"Wake up!" she whispered,"Mrs.MeBorla's almost done with her speech."
I rubbed my eyes. I was in the auditorium; this huge room where all the meetings about the epidemic were held. Mrs.MeBorla was Delta's librarian and also the advisor of the news party. Their jobs were to send out notices and alerts throughout campus on the progress of the research party. She was one of those old people that would chase kids down the block waving her cane saying 'Get off my property you hooligans!' However once you get to know her and gain her trust, she's actually a nice old woman who loves a good book. The only downside is that she gave five hour long speeches on the briefest of things. I swear I bet she repeats everything at least fifty times just to get the point across. I usually fall asleep and depend on friends to wake me up around the end.
"Wha-? Oh-oh hey I'm awake. I'm awake....what are we talking about?" I groaned.
"She's just about to start to discuss who the new Head Director will be for the research party."
I sighed and straightened up my posture. "Does this mean I have to be awake for another three hours?" I asked irritated.
"She's just going to announce who the new director is...hopefully.." Lily said wistfully. She looked as if she was going to pass out. She had bags under her eyes. She looked at her cup of coffee. Empty. She yawned,"Great, I'm out of coffee and doomed."
"You can have mine." I offered holding up my cup.
She looked at it for a few seconds,"Steven this is milk..."
"Actually it's chocolate milk. Loaded with sugar." I grinned childishly.
"Aren't you like 19 years old?" she said smiling fixing her static blonde hair.
"Why yes I am," I declared proudly,"Aren't you LIKE 18 years old?" I mimicked.
She laughed and took a sip of the chocolate milk,"Shut it!" She took another sip,"I can't remember the last time I drank chocolate milk."
I gave a crooked smile,"To be a true genius, you have to act like a kid again."
"MR.CASTELLAN!!!" Mrs.MeBourla exclaimed.
I shot straight up,"Yes sir-I mean ma'am!"
I heard giggles around the room. Mrs.MeBorla didn't find this amusing."I don't know what has gotten in Prof.Robinson's mind but he was the boss." she groaned in exasperation,"Steven Castellan, the Professor saw that you were the most 'responsible' and 'dependable' and he knew that you could continue his research."
"Wait what?" I was shocked. There's no way he put me in charge of this whole place. No Way. I'm only 19...
The librarian rolled her eyes,"Yes. You are the new Head Director of the research party!"
After that statement there was chaos in the auditorium. People arguing against Prof.Robinson's decision. "Is that man crazy?!" someone shouted. "He's just a kid!" another said. "We're all doomed!!!" another said.
This obviously did NOT help my self-esteem. I lowered my head in embarrassment. I feel a warn hand touch mine. I look over and see this little girl with golden-brown eyes smiling as me. She had her brown hair in a braid that rested on her shoulder. Her denim overalls were buttoned all twisted up and she was missing a sneaker. She held onto my thumb tight,"Don't worry, mister. You can do it if you just believe." she said before running off to her father standing at the doorway.
I had a Peter Pan Moment for a second. That little girl gave me hope. I look down to my right where Lily was sitting. "Hey uhh..."
"You can't do this without my superior mind and you need my help? Sure." She interrupted.
"I wasn't gonna say that!" I said stuttering,"Ahh forget it. You're my Executive Assistant, cool?"
"Make it Head of the Chemical Serums and you've got a deal." She winked holding out her hand.
"Deal." I said shaking her hand.
Delta is now ruled by the students...this should be fun...

The Unforeseen
Intro
Hey my name is Steven, I'm 19 years old and I'm a student at Delta University here in what's left of Washington DC. Yeah, you heard me; WHAT'S LEFT OF IT. Now, your all probably like,"WHA-??" or "...k?" so let me explain.
A year ago, a plague was started after an unknown scientist snuck an infected lab rat onto a private plane. Somehow the rat ecaped from its cage and bit a flight attendant infecting her with this undiscovered disease. After the first person was infected, all of them got infected. The plane crashed somewhere near Las Vegas. When officials investigated the area where the plane crashed, they couldnt find any bodies of the crew nor passengers. They sent out search parties to search the area to see if any of them survived. Every search party went missing. Over the past couple of months after, there were reports of dark figures of people seen all over the city and of more and more people missing. Eventually this disease spread all over the U.S. I'm afraid that if this continues, it could spread throughout the continent and maybe even the world.
After reports were sent all over the world, the people that were smart decided to take refuge in santuaries such as Delta. The not-so-smart-ones were infected and turned into Feites(infected) These safe zones keep in touch with one another for status reports and they need assistance. Universities all over the country are working day and night to find some sort of antidote but nothing new has happened. I just hope that we can survive another night of torture as these sickos attack the campus. Ah well I guess it's back to--
"Steven! The professor's been infected! Come quick!!", a woman screamed from down the hall.
"What!? I'm coming! Tell Jackson to bring in a crew of Riotsheilds!"
Great...now I my science teacher's a zombie dude...
