alright so I know almost no one sees my quotes or anything. And probably no one cares but I write poems when I'm upset and this is one of them no one has ever read them before so let me know if you like it cause I'll try to write more :)
SOLDIER GIRL
As she listens to the rain
Her mind slowly drifts away
A quiet break from the deafening roar
Quickly coming a down pour
She finally has her victory
Steadily coming she'll be free
Her escape, she'll fly afar
From her torture, day by day
Her soft cries swept away
She kept them in all this way
But for all they know she's fast asleep
Only met by wishful dreams
But truth does not meet the eye
For this lie has just crept by
The rain is dying, faintly now
She takes her final breath

To think or not
People are attracted to beautiful words
And things no one has ever seen
Why take what you didn't create?
Why crush the artist's dream?
Some people can think

In my writing class, we are on a poetry unit. Everyone had to reach their hand into a box and pull out something without looking. I ended with a rock covered in glitter and I made a poem for it:
Glamorous
I am so glamorous
with glitter covering me.
I’m so beautiful,
it’s such a simple thing to see.
Without a doubt,
I obviously don’t fit in.
Besides, I want to stand out.
I know it’s no sin.
I straighten my hair everyday
and put my makeup on.
This is the only way
for me to be beautiful as a swan.
I always go out
and shop for new clothes.
It’s without a doubt
that I’m pretty as a rose.
Why are you trying to get close to me?
No! You have to stay away!
I don’t want anyone to see!
I won’t have my heart out on display!
I must never let it show.
I always have to hide.
Because no one must know;
that I’m ugly on the inside.

The Quiet Ones
This poem is for the quiet ones
The shy ones, and the ones who hardly speak
I understand why you are quiet
And its not because you are weak
Some people think more loudly than they speak
Some people write better than they talk
Some people have more to say on paper
Some people would rather run than walk
What is so wrong with being quiet?
What is so great about being loud?
Why does what I do get critiqued
and what you do makes you proud?
Congratulations, you are loud
You may get more attention than me
It may not be the good kind
But I understand, that's the only way you know to be
Those who are quiet,
We don't have much to say outloud
We are not rude or aloof
It's just we get no benefit from being loud
We speak better when we write
Our minds can be so full of things to say
Sometimes it keeps us up at night
We are the quite ones, we are misunderstood
We may get labeled as weird and shy
For doing what most should consider good
Sometimes its good to stay silent
To sit and not say a word
Remember, just because someone is quiet
Doesn't mean they go through life unheard
I got inspiration for this poem, mainly because I am tired of the way people always say rude things about people who are more quiet or shy than others....It's not a bad thing, it doesn't mean we don't want to talk to people...some people are just quiet, and shouldn't get made to feel bad about it

Currently I'm now in a Creative Writing Class and my class is now in the poetry unit. I plan to put up some of the original things I write and I would like to ask that no one tries to pass it off as there own. If you do, I will find where you and your family live ._. hahahaha nah. Well anyways the teacher assigns genres to everyone and guess what I got? Romance. ROMANCE. I suck with romance *cries*, well at least she said we could go anywhere with it. Anyways, this is what I wrote :D enjoy~
Just You and Me
On a starry night,
atop the sandy beach.
My heart has alight,
with your hand in my reach.
At a shopping mall,
smiles on our lips.
We just have it all,
almost attached at the hip.
Can you see

smiles and laughs?

but when he kissed her back, she knew it was fine
