To think or not
People are attracted to beautiful words
And things no one has ever seen
Why take what you didn't create?
Why crush the artist's dream?
Some people can think
with a good imagination
And some people can't
It's too much of a struggle
to have thoughts and creation
Being different is being brave
It's not strange or weak
Some people are too afraid
To really sit and think
To be an artist
You can't be afraid
To write you have to have strength
You can't let fear
Take away your ability to think
Some people create
with creativity
Some people can't
They have no individuality
Some people are brave
They shine like the sun
Only the bright ones stand out
In a crowd
Only some people
Can share their thoughts outloud
Not just from speaking
In a creative way
Something that's inventive
That not everyone can say
That's why I like writing
Because its like art
It's a way to be different
To share your soul and heart
If you hate poetry
And words that rhyme
Then that's your choice
But its what I love
And its how I spend my time
