Chapter 1
“Bethany Anne Joy! Come down here or you’ll be late for your first day of school!”
“Mom, I’m not going to be late!” I scream. I am in my room getting ready for my first day of school. Of course I am still contemplating on which outfit to wear, I kind of a tendency to leave things to the last minute. I pick out the best thing I have, my favorite sundress. It’s baby blue, lilac and light pink. With my hair all curled with my new headband on and my dress, I’m ready.
I hurry and eat breakfast. I tell my mom goodbye, grab my backpack and run out the door. I walk down the road to the bus stop with a smile on my face. This is the first day I will see him again. Butterflies fill my stomach jus thinking about him. His smile is amazing and his laugh is just adorable, and he is gorgeous. His name is Nathan and I don’t think I ever liked someone this much. I have liked him ever since that bus ride we had to go for some trip to a museum. My smile doesn’t leave my face because I am getting more and more excited. The bus arrives and I elegantly step on.
My best friends Juliette, Elena, Jane, Kassidy and Jenna freaked out when they saw me. Juliette tried to run up to me to give me a hug but the bus driver screamed at her. I sat down in the seat with Elena as we all greeted each other. We compared schedules to see we have almost every class together but different lockers. We got to school and we all parted ways until homeroom to check out our new lockers. I gave them each a hug and walked down the “Wing C” Hallway.
“See You at Homeroom Beth!” Kassidy called. I turned around to scream it back to her when I bumped into somebody. I quickly apologized without looking at the person and started picking up my books.
The person bent down and picked up my science notebook with my schedule on top.
“Looks like we have science together.” Wait I know that voice. I looked up to see it was Nathan standing in the hallway, face to face with me. All alone, the two of us in the “C Wing” my heart almost stopped.

Chapter 1:
My name is Anabella Grace. I have the best life out of all of my friends. Believe me, they remind me everyday. But sometimes, it feels like I have this huge boulder in my way. I can't get over it. I can't go under it. It's way to wide to go around it. And certainly, I can't go through it. No one understands that. No one sees it, only me. Somedays, I get the strength to push it out of the way. But there are other days that I don't have the strength and I give in and let it block my way. I know just what it is, and when this boulder began to get in my way. But explaining it...I'm not so sure if I can.
It all started last year. It was the last day of school. I couldn't wait to get out of this place. And honestly looking back, I should have stayed...it ended up being the best place for me. But I didn't want that. I wanted to be daring. I needed excitment and I knew just what to do. That's where he came into play. My boyfriend of 7 months, I needed him to help me through the summer. And he almost did, or would of had he not gotten sent away that dreadful summer day in June. It really is a sad story when you understand just what that meant for us. No communication, and no more relationship. Hope was the only thing keeping me alive. But just how far could that get me. I guess, maybe you will know, if only they could know that too...

Last night "Merry Christmas Drake and Josh "aired on Nickelodeon. For the third Christmas in a row, the ratings have done exceedingly well.
