    Chapter 20
I woke up at 2:00 o'clock in the morning, I looked up at the cealing and then over to the alarm clock. I watched the number go up until until i was around 2;45, my eyes felt heavy and gradually closed.
"Nicole, wake up baby" i hear Michael voice in my right ear. "Baby, get up," he says one more time before i slowly open my eyes. I got up and then got in the shower. I walked out of the bathroom with just a towel, i went over to my suitcase and grabbed an outfit. I put on a pair of jean shorts and pink tanktop with my favorite brown belt. I quickly ran a brush threw my hair, and didnt even bother to put on my makeup. I went to go sit down and look outside the window to the life below us. I herd someone open the door, and then Michaels voice followed. "Vinilla bean frappiceano, with light whipped cream." Michael said handing me a starbucks cup and following it with a kiss on the cheeck. I smiled, "Thank you babe," "Not a problem, so what are the plans for the day?" "I dont really care its-" "Wait did you... theres something different with you today." Michael said interupting me. I giggled, "Guess," "Mmmmm... Mmmmhmmm....Ah yes.....mmmmm" he said inspecting me, "Theres something....and I LIKE it!" he said pointing at me. "Hhaha, oh come on you have to figure it out!" I say laughing at him. "Your skinner?" I shake my head. "Prettier?" I shake my head. "Wait...not possible." I smile and then laugh at his adorable cheeasy sence of humor. "YOU GREW!" my eyes widen, and then i shake my head. "Hey Mike, I havent grown sence the fifth grade...im 18." "Oh right, I GOT IT!" I take my hand and motin it in a circe and hoping to hear the corresct answer. "Your not wearing makeup!!" "HAHA heeee-ayyyy" i siad laughing at him. "I like it." he says smiling. I take a sip of my coffee. "So that still doesnt cover the plans for the day.." i say looking up from my drink. "Haha, thats up to you babe," he says as he come over and kisses my forehead. I look up a few places to go on my phone. After about two hours of goofing around and trying to figure out what to do, we decided to go have a lucnch on the beach. I put on a pair of brown sandals and my Michael Kors over the sholder bag. We walked to the parking lot and made our way to the beach.
We drove for about 45 minutes and then came to a beautiful sea side restraunt.
"Wow, its so pretty Mike," i say looking out at the water as i get out of the car. "Yeah, it is." he says as he makes his way over to me. I grabbed my hand we began to walk to the restraunt.

    Chapter 4
The next day Aunt Holly was going into town to get groceries and I decided to go with her. I figured if I was going to be here for a while I might as well know how to get around. I also got the feeling Holly wanted to spend some time together when she asked. We got into her rusty blue pickup truck and drove the fifteen or so minutes until we saw some houses and buildings begin to appear. On the way to the grocery store, I noticed a little movie theater that could've come from an old black and white movie as well as a cafe and an ice cream shop. The whole town was so adorably country it actually made me look forward to the rest of the summer here.
Finally we pulled up to the local grocery store. The sign read Shaw's in large orange letters. We got out and immediately split up each of us with half of her long shopping list. I sighed at the paper in my hand and walked off to pick up cereal. In the cereal aisle, there were no boxes that looked even vaguely familiar. They were all the store brand kind. I was so busy searching the shelves for something I might like that I didn't notice the girl behind me until I backed up into her.
"Oh sorry," she giggled before I could even say anything. The girl was about my age with curly brown hair and chocolate colored eyes. She spoke with a thick southern accent and even wore cowboy boots. Definitely a local.
"Don't worry about it. It's my fault," I replied.
"I don't think I've seen you around. Are you new here?"
"Yeah I'm staying with my aunt for the summer just outside of town."
"Oh! You're Allie Jacobson aren't you? It's so nice to meet you! I'm Heather Andrews by the way," she chirped excitedly. Word travels fast in small towns I thought to myself. Just then, Holly appeared with the cart. I grabbed a couple random boxes and tossed them in.
"Nice to meet you Heather. I should get going."
"Okay but Allie we should hang out sometime. You're gonna need someone to talk to this summer." I nodded and gave her a rare genuine smile as I walked away. I truly did look forward to getting to know her better.
When we got back to the ranch, the first thing I saw was Bentley. His black hair was gleaming in the sun and he was wearing just a white undershirt with his button up flannel shirt draped over his shoulder. When he saw us, he immediately made his way over and went to help us with the bags.
"Hey Allie. What do you say we go riding later today?"I couldn't reply. I was struck speechless momentarily by the way his muscles looked in the tight shirt. His lean body was strong from working the ranch for years. I forced myself to stop staring and coherent thoughts began forming again.
"Uh yeah sure," I managed to get out. "I have to finish unpacking but I should be done around 3."
"Perfect. Meet me at the barn." He set the grocery bags down in the kitchen and walked out of the house. I ran up to my room with a stupid grin plastered on my face. Not only had I made a new friend today, but this adorable cowboy was making an effort to hang out with me. This was the best day I'd had in months. Maybe Oklahoma wouldn't be so bad after all.

    For Better Or For Worse
    Chapter Eight
    ~ Jackie's POV ~ http://www.polyvore.com/end-of-summer_barbeque/set?id=50152998 ~
“We’ve made it through the first week of school, you guys!” I said, looking at my new group of friends. Ever since I went to Verizon with Tanner, we haven’t been jumping down each other’s throats as much. Well we have, and we still hate each other, but there’s an understanding between us. Thanks to him, I haven’t been tortured yet, and I’ve been buying normal sized lunches. It’s Friday, the day of the barbeque at Hannah’s house.
“Hey, you look really pretty tonight,” Tanner said, sneaking up behind me. I blushed, as I thanked him.
“You look pretty, too,” I joked. I put a hamburger, barbeque Lays, a pickle, and a hotdog on my plate. And some more chips – they’re my favorite. And another pickle – also my favorite. I went over to sit at the huge, circular, white table set for the eight of us. I sat next to Tanner and Mandy, and across from the rest of them. Tanner looked at my plate and laughed.
“What?” I shoved a chip in my mouth, being careful not to mess up my lipstick.
“Is someone a little hungry?” He winked at me, indicating it was just a joke, so I laughed.
“Ha, ha, you’re not funny,” I laughed a little more.
“Do you want some ketchup?” Mandy asked, passing it to me.
“No thanks, I don’t like ketchup.” I said, taking the bottle anyways.
“Fork over the gold!” Tanner said, his eyes getting wide. He yanked the ketchup and poured it into his burger and on the side for “dipping purposes”, whatever that means. I cringed at him when he licked the ketchup off of his mouth.
“Mmmmm,” he emphasized it to gross me out, obviously. Out of nowhere, it started to rain. Not spit, not drizzle, but rain. Hardcore rain; like, thunder storming. Everyone grabbed their food and ran into Hannah’s tiny, one-floored house. I watched through the glass sliding door as the rain hit the patio. The thunder crackled and basically shook her house, and then lightening struck, causing the power to go out. My hair was slightly damp since I barely made it inside without getting wet, but it wasn’t like I was drenched.
“Change of plans, I guess,” Hannah laughed nervously.
“Hey, guys, wanna play truth or dare?” Mandy’s eyebrows crept up her porcelain face as she suggested the game. We all nodded in unison, thinking it would be fun – boy, were we wrong.
*feedback, please! i have a lot of chapters pre-written for my current story, but does anyone have any ideas for my next plot so that i can start pre-writing my next story? comment on my profile please xxx

    Chapter 27
    Kate's Point of View
I could feel everyone’s eyes on me.
The looks of disbelief from my family and the death stares from Evan’s family all hurt the same.
“I’m sorry Evan but I can’t do this,” I said and ran out of the church.
    Carla followed me out.
“What did you just do?” she asked completely shocked.
“I can’t marry him Car,” I said all choked up. “I’m in love with Drew.”
I drove myself back to my apartment and texted the one person I needed to speak the most right now.
I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to say, but three simple words seemed to sound about right.
    I need you
Whether he would answer or not, I was unsure of.
I went upstairs to my apartment, changed out of my dress and cried.
    What had I just done?
    Drew’s P.O.V
    I need you
I read those three simple words across my screen.
I wasn’t exactly sure what they meant, but they were from Kate and I had to go see her.
She had given me the address to her apartment months ago.
I pulled into the parking lot, and got up to her apartment as fast as I could.
I knocked on the door, hoping she was there.
“Go away,” I heard her sniffle out. She was obviously crying.
“Kate, it’s me,” I said in a soft, soothing voice.
The door opened and she let me in.
I asked what was wrong, and she explained to me the entire story.
I honestly couldn’t believe what she was telling me.
“Why’d you do it Kate?” I asked slightly confused.
She was silent for a few seconds before she finally answered.
“Because I’m in love with you,” she said.
I could tell she was afraid of how I was going to respond.
“But I understand if you’re over me by now. I broke your heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you just left me like I did to you.”
Words couldn’t have described what I wanted to say to her in that moment, so I kissed her.
After so many years of struggling with our love, we were finally together.
For once in our lives, we were both happy with each other.
    Feedback?
