A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up and down the aisles. The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him. He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife. She directs him down the correct aisle. A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and ball of string in the counter. She says confused, "Sir, I though you were looking for a box of tampons for your wife?" He answers "You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store to get me a carton of cigarettes and she came back with a tin of tobacco and some rolling papers cause it's 'soooo much cheaper' so I figure if I have to roll my own so does she."

Remeber when you used to text me first?
And practically beg for me to come over so you could see me on the weekends?
Remember when you used to text me "Good morning beautiful." all the time?
Or when you used to randomly text me just to tell me you loved me?
Or when you could hold a conversation with me because you actually wanted to talk to me?
Remember when you would grab my face and kiss me like you meant it?
When you used to pull me into a hug and wrap your arms around my body like you wanted to touch me?
When you actually acted like you loved me, like you never wanted to lose me, like you really wanted to see me and touch me and hold me and never let me go?
I can't tell if it's just because we've been together for so long that you don't feel the need to do it anymore, or if it's because you don't want me anymore.
It's driving me insane.

I can feel my heartbeat in my stomach
He doesn't calle me first anymore.
He doesn't randomly kiss me or hug me amore. And when he does, it's like kissing my mother.
When we sit next to eachother, he doesn't grab my hand and absent mindedly run his thumb along my knuckles like he used to.
He doesn't kiss my cheeks or laugh with me or tell my I'm cute like he used to.
He is bored. I am not.
I am not bored.
I still try to do those things, but it's hard when he won't try.
He is acting weird. But he denies it.
I tried to talk to him about it,
and he accused me of trying to start a fight
and it feels like my heart is in my throat when I think about how he could ever possibly think that.

You know what's the worst? Thinking you have a chance with someone, and then realizing that you actually don't. Wasting your time on someone. Wasting your time thinking about them every moment of the day. Wasting your time just waiting for a text or a call back. Wasting your time wondering if they feel the same way as you, wondering if they are thinking about you too. When in reality, they aren't. While you're making them your priority, they're making you an option.
