I think maybe you should wait and see what happens? He could actually like you, and then you would probably hurt him by asking if your bro has anything to do with this... But he seems like a great guy, and you seem to really care; so don't push it. You can't force feelings, especially those described. ...Just don't blatantly accuse him of lying, okay?

Im going to be a senior so I can tell you. 8th grade for me honestly sucked.But it's different for everyone. I started a new school in 8th grade so I had to try and make new friends.I'd say be yourself and don't be annoying and obnoxious. Try your best and have fun. Try not to get into any drama and you should be fine.I don't really have much to say so sorry if it doesnt help
