    THE BUTTERFLY PROJECT
    Rules:
    1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpie, and draw a butterfly on the area where you cut.
2 . Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
3 . You must let the butterfly fade naturally, NO scrubbing it off.
4 . If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you’ve killed it, & you must wash it off. If you don’t cut, it lives.
5 . If you have butterflies in different areas on your body where you cut, cutting kills all of them.
6 . Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special.
    7. Take good care of them. Even if you don’t cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts, and tell them. It could help their situation.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE PART IN THIS PROJECT IF YOU DO CUT. PHYSICALLY HARMING YOURSELF IS A TERRIBLE WAY TO COPE WITH ANGER, SADNESS, STRESS, ETC. PLEASE STOP. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

    Where'd You Go?
    Chapter 1
i took a look at the clock on top of the nightstand besides my bed.
It was 7:00 am on a Wednesday morning. Typical.
I got out of bed, and took off my pajamas.
I threw on a peace t-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and sneakers.
I went downstairs, expecting my mother to be sitting at the table.
    Only, she wasn't there.
Oh well, I thought to myself, she must've gone to work early.
I grabbed a bowl and poured some cereal and milk into it.
I scarfed it down and went out the front door.
The car was still parked in the driveway.
This is getting weird, she always drives to work.
I walked down the road to school, it wasn't very far, so I just walked.
I walked into my first period, English, and took my usual seat next to my friends, Avril and Katia.
The rest of school went by pretty fast.
I didn't learn much though, the only thing on my mind was my mom.
As I was about to leave my last period, my teacher stopped me.
"Hold on, Ms. Wilson. Is everything ok? You haven't been paying much attention."
    "Everything's fine," I lied.
"Alright, you may go home then."
I walked home, and opened the door.
It was still unlocked. My mom would notice an unlocked door instantly.
I searched around the whole house, but my mom was nowhere to be found.
There were no notes or signs either.
I grabbed my cellphone, and called the printing company, which my mom worked at.
"Hello, may I help you?" the operator said.
"I'm Jessie, Linda Wilson's daughter. I just wanted to know if she's at work right now?"
"No, she hasn't been here all day."
"Oh... Ok then. Sorry to bother you." I ended the call.
My face turned pale as I realized the truth.
    Something happened to my mom.
    And it was serious.

Here’s to the people who say cheerleading isn’t a sport and that cheerleaders aren’t athletes
The very definition of sport is, and I quote, "an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature." We practice just as much as you do. Every day of the week, 2+ hours. We condition, We run, We do ab workouts and pushups and planks. No, we don’t lift weights, we lift our athletes-and we hold them 10-15 feet in the air until our arms shake. Until our legs quiver. Don’t doubt the flyers either. We have more muscle than you seem to think. The amount of balance, leg muscle, and core tightness it takes to stay in the air is unbelievable to someone who has never done it before. We run full speed at nothing, then flip in the air, twist, and land on our feet. We jump. We jump high-without a trampoline. Concentrating on pointed toes, extended legs, tight arms, jump height, facials, and smiling… Ever based a basket toss? You get blood blisters on your hands. Softball sized bruises start to appear like magic. As for the flyers, if you’re not tight, expect to have your back jammed into your bases knee. Don’t forget about the backspots. We are the lifeguards of cheerleading. We save lives everyday. We get concussions, hit, and rammed into the ground. Without us, your flyers would be injured. Sprained ankles, broken fingers, and pulled muscles don’t slow us down. You practice like it doesn’t hurt. Now you have 2.5 minutes on a paneled mat. You have 1000+ people in the crowd every time you go on that floor. 4 judges. 2.5 minutes of horrendous physical activity and we make it look easy. Perfection doesnt exist, but here we go reaching for it anyways. You hit or you miss. Toes weren’t pointed? Deduction. Didn’t stick your tumbling? Deduction. Stunt didn’t hit? Deduction. You all think we’re the prissy girls who always have to have perfect hair and makeup. You’re wrong. At practice, we have messy buns and running makeup. Competitions? Sweats until we absolutely have to get ready. Do you think that cheer uniform is comfortable? It’s not… Sure the hair and make up is fun and gets us in the mood to perform, but ultimately it’s to unite us as a team. To be uniformed and have the same look. Think we don’t eat & are obsessed with being skinny? Good joke. We love food. Not all cheerleaders are mean girls who think they rule the school. We have really good grades and don’t hang out with the "cool kids" and go parties every weekend. We don’t all have starting quarterback football boyfriends or even any boyfriends at all. People see us as stereo types. Its wrong. Cheerleading is in the top 5 most dangerous sports in the world. Did you catch that? Sport. Proven to be in the Top 5 most dangerous, and you still have the nerve to say its not a sport? You’ve got to be joking. Cheerleading is something you have to want and work for. You have to love it and have a passion for it. So you doubt us? Fine. We’ll prove you wrong. Say we’re not athletes? Okay. Come to a practice. Compete with us. You’ll think differently. Say what we do is easy? Try it. I dare you.

    Directioners disgust me.
    They are so pathetic.
There are people like P!nk or Demi Lavato who have written much better songs with actual meaning behind them BY THEMSELVES. No one wrote those songs for them, they wrote them out of their own personal experience, but no one cares because you are superfical pathetic little girls and all you want is a boyfriend. THEY DID NOT SAVE YOUR LIFE, SHUT THE F**K UP. All you want is a nice boyfriend, therefore your life wasn't in danger. Having someone who has NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE tell you you're beautiful can't save your life. When these guys sing those songs, they are probably thinking about Victoria's Secret models. You probably think I'm being really harsh, but at least I can see people for who they really are, rather than who they want you to think they are. Excuse my anger, I can't stand how gullible girls are.

    The Suicide Message.
So you want the pain to all go away? End the tears rolling down your face, cut everyone away from you, just to stop it all, make it all end. Yes, the pain will end for you, but what about your loved ones? What about the split second moment of when your parents or siblings walk into your room reminding you that dinner is ready, but instead they see their dead child infront of their eyes. The pain you had… Will now have moved onto your parents. Their world will become so dark, they will blame themselves every single day. ‘Was it something I did?’ They’ll try to think it was all just a nightmare and they are going to wake up from this dream and you will be alive. They won’t give up, they will try anything to not accept the truth. So after killing yourself, and after your parents discovering your body, what will they have to do next? Who’s going to ring the school saying a student has killed them self? Who’s going to tell your best friends that you have taken your own life? Who’s going to arrange the funeral? Who’s going to have to walk past your room everyday, and just getting that sudden chill? Just because the pain shall end for you, does not mean the pain will just automatically end for everyone. Everyone will remember you. People who didn’t even have a conversation with you, will remember you. ‘The kid that killed themself’. People on Facebook who have never even typed one word to you, will remember you. Everyone would feel guilty, an entire wave of shame will come upon them. People will cry so, so hard. They will also start to question their existence, their life. Your family will break apart, loved ones can sometimes turn on each other. They have so much anger that they should have done something before you made up your mind, that they will start to throw that anger on the ones closest to them. Is the reason you want to kill yourself really worth it? Do you think that nobody will care, your death will just quietly slip the town news and everyone will easily ignore it? Do you think that you will be single forever and there’s no point for life anymore? Let me tell you, that there is at someone right now, who likes you a lot more then a friend. Someone who is willing to care for you, love you, make you smile. Someone is thinking about you right now. Killing yourself means that you would never know. You would never know that someone out there really did like you, and had a lot of feelings for you. Who’s going to pick out the song they play at your funeral? Your friends and family will hear that song, and from that very moment, whenever they hear that same tune, you will come to their mind. All your memories, your face, your eyes, your smile, everything. You’re young, you have so much ahead of you. Yes, at times life does get so hard you just want to crawl up into a ball and wish you could just fade away. But you can pull through that, you can pull through anything. We have all been there, sitting at the end of our bed, our eyes becoming so tired from the tears and just so many thoughts running through your mind. And the only solution to fix it all is suicide. But that isn’t the solution. Talk to a trusted adult, get counseling, get anything that doesn’t involve taking your own life. Because there are so many people that care for you, even though you cannot see it. There are so many people that love you, even though they may never say it. You’d want to be proud and look back at how difficult your life was and just think ‘wow, I really pulled through that one’. So please, do not pass your pain onto your loved ones. Suicide: a permeant solution to a temporary problem. Temporary, meaning you can stand over the problem. I know it’s not going to be ‘la la im happy now :)’, because we all know that is bullsh.it. But please, just try to get through whatever is making you feel this way. Do'nt run away from it, do'nt let people achieve what they set out to do. If people have been bullying you, either cyber, verbal or physical, you know what? Screw them. Because they're the ones who are going to end up with karma. If anyone has sent you hate on anonymous, they will always live with that guilt. I am proud to say I have never sent anonymous hate and I never, ever plan to. But to the people who have, whenever they read this or say it too. They’ll get this squirmy feeling, as though at least somebody knows they’re lying. People who have nothing better to do with their lives then attack innocent people, are going to end up nowhere. Because by the end of the day it all comes down to jealousy. So just smile, walk away and say forget you. You’re better then anybody who makes you come to this breaking point of wanting to take your own life. You don’t even know me, but I love you so much. Chin up, you’re beautiful.
