CONVERSATION ON PHONE BETWEEN A BOY AND GIRL WHO HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 5 MONTHS: (it's sad but read it. it's worth it)

Boy: WAIT! NO!
-dial tone-
BOY GOES TO HOSPITAL, AND TO ROOM ..646, BUILDING A, SUITE 3. GIRL IS LYING IN THE HOSPITAL BED.
Boy: Oh my God, are u okay??
Girl: .......
Boy: Sweetie!! Talk to me!!
Girl: I.....
Boy: You what? YOU WHAT?
Girl: I have cancer and I’m on life support.
Boy: ....>breaks into tears<....
Girl: They're taking me off tonight.
Boy: Why?
Girl: I wanted to tell you, but I couldn’t .
Boy: Why didn’t you tell me?
Girl: I didn’t want to hurt you.
Boy: You could never hurt me.
Girl: I just wanted to see if you felt about me the same as I felt about you.
Boy: ?
Girl: I love you more than anything. I would give you the world in a heartbeat. I would die for you and take a bullet for you.
Boy: (crying)
Girl: Don’t be sad. I love you and I’ll always be here with you
Boy: Then why did you break up with me?
Nurse: Young man, visiting hours are over.
The boy leaves and later that night the girl is taken off of life support and dies, but what the boy didn’t know is that the girl only asked him those questions so she could hear him say it one last time. She only broke up with him because she knew she only had 3 more weeks left to live and thought that it would cause him less pain and give him time to get over her before she died.
NEXT DAY
The boy is found dead with a gun in one hand and a note in the other.
THE NOTE SAID:
“I told her that I would take a bullet for her, just like she said she would die for me.”

I have Cancer
My name is Savannah. Im 16 and I have bone cancer. I was diagnosed 6 months ago, and have been in treatment for 4 months. Im becoming weak, and losing my hair. Im so scared, but i try to stay strong.I am not making this quote for sympathy, im making it for a reason. I dont know how much longer I have left to live, but i am a fighter and will not let this disease destory me. We met in kindergarten. We were best friends.
She always told me she loved my eyes. I didn't quite know why.
I was in love with her, so of course my face lit up immensely whenever she said it.
She was beautiful, kind, and extremely funny.
We'd be talking about nothing, and she'd turn to me and whisper,
"I like your eyes."
One day, I was playing basketball,
waiting for her to drive over to my house to have a game with me.
Suddenly, I got a phone call.
It was her mom. She was in a panic.
I couldn't quite understand what she was saying. It sounded like,
"Aaron, come quick! Kelsey, accident, Main Street! Blood. Come now!"
I had no clue what happened,
so I ran to Main Street with my basketball shorts and a tee shirt on.
I saw Kelsey's mom helplessly crying, waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
I saw a totaled car, blood everywhere.
Then I saw her, Kelsey.
My heart stopped as I frantically ran over to her.
"Kelsey? Kelsey!" She was unconscious. I started crying.
I know it isn't very manly, but I couldn't help it.
Before I could say anymore, the medics took her away,
the main source of blood coming from her head.
I went to the hospital that night,
I went every night.
in fact, the only time I left was to go out to eat, but that's it.
The doctors tried getting me to leave, but I refused.
It was all my fault.
If it wasn't for me, wanting to play basketball with her,
she wouldn't be going through this.
It was already four days, and she hasn't woken up.
On the fifth day, I saw her eyes gently open.
"Kelsey?" I called.
She wasn't quite awake yet.
Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside.
I did, for a few hours.
One of the doctors finally came out saying,
"I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?"
"Yes," I whispered.
He bit his lip.
"She woke up, she's fine,
but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss."
"Are you serious?" I almost shouted.
"I'm afraid so."
I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't.
I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again.
"You can go see her if you want,
but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom."
I walked in, trembling in horror.
I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept.
I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again.
I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out.
Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered,
"I don't know you, but I like your eyes."

Every now and then I check back on this website. I haven't been truly active in years, but looking back on my quotes and old friends is nice. I can't believe I joined this website 7 whole years ago. wow.
Just in case any of my mutuals are still active, here's a little life update:
A lot has drastically changed in my life. To start, my father, who I was very proud of and posted about often, passed away in a car accident in 2016. It was hard on me and my family. It still is. There were times I didn't think we could make it through this, yet here I am.
Second, I met the genuine love of my life. You guys, he is truly my everything. He treats me SO well, and I'm glad I found him. He has the same sense of humor and ambition as I do. We are getting married this fall, and I just can't wait.
Third, I've made some MAJOR career moves. I became an EMT in 2017, which was super difficult as I was still in high school. There were loads of hurdles, but I truly LOVE this profession. I've found a passion in helping those who are experiencing the worst moments of their life, and I'm honored and humbled that I have the opportunity to make things better for all of my patients. Through the good and bad of this job, I love it with my whole heart.
Speaking of major career moves, I've made the decision to enlist in the U.S. Army. After BCT, I will be trained as a combat medic, and my hope is to either go Airborne, or work as a flight medic. It will be extremely challenging, but I'm looking forward to growing, learning, broadening my horizons, and serving my country.
I will be graduating this Saturday. Shortly after, I will FINALLY be moving from my small town to experience a little more to life before I head off to bootcamp.
I want to thank every single person who was a friend to me when I was active on this website. There were times that I was in a dark place, and I'm thankful I've had some of you to lean on. Going through my old quotes has really showed me that I have grown- quite a bit.
