|Chapter Twenty Four|
Around 10 o clock there was said to be a meteor shower. We all got a big blanket and set it up in Harry's fron yard. I sat down on the edge and laid down next to Louis wtih Jenna on my other side. We looked up at the night sky and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. That was until my phone started to buzz. I took it out and saw Lauren's number on the screen. I answered and put her on speaker.
"Lauren!" I smiled. Everyone said hi and you could hear a small muffled voice say back ,
"Hey guys."
"Oh my god you sound awful!" I frowned.
"Gee thanks." I could almost see her role her eyes.
"Are you alright?!" Niall asked frantically.
"Yes, I just have a stomach bug. Thanks Nialler." she sniffled.
"Anyways do you need anything?" I asked.
"No, I just wanted to see if you guys were watching for shooting stars." she said hoarsly. "Oh yeah! We just got out here but nothing yet," I said looking up at the sky.
"Well tell me if you see anything!"
"Will do, feel better Lauren." Everyone said goodbye and we hung up. I laid back down on our blanket looking at the blank sky.
"Poor Lauren," Jenna sighed.
"Mhm." Emily agreed. We all watched for something until finally we saw a bright streak of light shoot through the sky. It was gone as fast as it came.
"Did you guys see it?!" Louis asked.
"Yeah! That was incredible!" Liam smiled.
"I'm hungry." Niall whined. We all rolled our eyes but laughed at the same time.
"Kelly come help me get food." Niall said getting up.
"You can get it yourself," I shot back.
"But-"
"Niall's scared of the dark and he doesn't want to get eaten by the monsters on his way back to the house." Zayn laughed.
"Oh my goodness fine Niall I'll come with you." I gave in getting up and heading towards the house with him.
"Are you really scared of the dark?" I asked as we entered the house.
"Yes, but that's not why I needed you to come inside with me." he said walking towards the kitchen.
"Okayyy..." I said cautiously.
"I need your help." he said taking a bite of a granola bar.
"With?"
"I really like Lauren, but I don't know how to impress her. Let's just say I'm not a big ladies man." he shrugged.
"Really? Cuz you've got millions of girls drooling all over you?" I smirked.
"Okay fans don't count. I'm talking like people who I actually know and talk to. I just end up saying something really stupid." he sighed.
"Alright. Well just think of something creative! Serenade her!" I smiled to myself for that idea.
"Oh my gosh! Kelly you're a genious! THANK YOU!" he jumped up and down and then caught me in a big hug.
"Your welcome leperchaun!" He frowned and pulled out of the hug.
"I'm not a leperchaun."
"Really? Well for starters you're wearing green, you are pretty short, and you have a very thick accent. All you need is red hair and a pot of gold."
"Well aren't you rude!" he frowned.
I put my hands up in defense,"Hey, I call em like I see em."
