it is amazing how adults wonder why teenagers are online so much while they continually ignore and dismiss all of their thoughts and feelings.
like geez i wonder why kids these days would turn to the internet, a place where they can interact with others and receive an abundance of the support and attention they lack in their daily lives

unpopular opinion time!!!
okay guys, so as you know, since somewhere around late 2012/early 2013,
witty has been losing a lot of its active members. and it's not the same. yes,
i miss seeing the top quotes of the day section filled with 1000+ faves. i do
miss MANY of the amazing people who were on here like jayciecutie01 and
thatsomeee and damnntaylerx and xoalicecullenxo and, of course
FramingMatthew. but i actually like "new witty" a little bit...better? i mean
i feel like it's not much of a competition anymore to get a top quote which
is a little sad but at the same time good, because it shows that witty is
more about expressing yourself rather than faves, making it not nearly
as much as a popularity contest. also there is SO MUCH LESS hate, drama,
and troll accounts. it was honestly so annoying to hear about who was fig-
hting who and who was taking what side, and those stupid people who made
"burn book" type of accounts or commented rude things on peoples profiles;
some of which had happened just last summer. but as we know some people
are still fed up about new witty (all of their friends left, outgrew it, etc.)
and they end up leaving too, which i am not okay with since it contributes to more
of witty's decline. so tl;dr overall i like how witty is now better than it was before,
but i know it's not going to stay like this because many members are still leaving,
and before we know it this place will be deserted and we need to fix that. ok i'm
sorry i feel like i just wasted my time typing this but that's just my opinion.

Honestly,
I was ready to leave this website yesterday. But I refuse
to leave until witty is active again. It's like... I don't feel comfortable without
leaving newer members something to inherit. I want them to see the
same Witty that I did when I was young.

You strike me as someone with a healthy amount of confidence and a great head on her shoulders, and I know we're all entitled to our own thoughts and feelings (insecurity being one of those that naturally come with being human), but I want you to know that even before I had the pleasure of speaking with you, I thought you were insanely gorgeous. You have striking, model-esque features like full lips, a soft complexion, and bright blue eyes that shine with liveliness. My opinion of you was only heightened once we started talking and I realized that not only were you beautiful beyond belief on the outside, but you were also a compassionate, intelligent, and intriguing human being. You've made me fall in love with you as a person, and it didn't take much time or effort on your part. You are just naturally a beautiful person with this charisma and charm about you that is very difficult to overlook and even more difficult not to love. If I can see it, I guarantee you others can as well. Now, granted, there are cruel people in this world we live in and not everyone you encounter will like you (and some will, unfortunately, make that dislike obvious), but you can't control that. You shouldn't try to, either. Don't let the fear of a few people's opinions keep you from sharing your wonderful gift of humor and kindness with the rest of the world. If you want to be a YouTube personality, by all means, go for it.
