I am an introvert. That means that when I'm feeling down, chances are
that I won't actually go to you for help. In fact, I won't go to anyone for help. You'll have to actually check on me. I don't feel that I should burden others with me problems, but if you come to me, I might just trust you enough to let you help.

Abort mission. I repeat abort mission. Code red.
So, I was sitting at lunch and it was the lunch that's extremely crowded and you're forced to sit at a table with your friends and people you've never talked to in your life.
So, besides my friends, there were one or two junior guys also sitting at the table, because the one next to them was too full. One was sitting in the seat directly across from the one next to me. He looked at me and said Hale a few times. I have never talked to this kid in my life. I've never even seen him before. The only people who call me that are on this website.
Guys, this is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill.

    when i was ten,
my heart was too big for my body
and there was this boy in my class who i hated
because his hair was stupid and his smile was stupid
and i couldn't speak properly when he was around.
i found out he liked my best friend
and that made me feel a bit hollow inside
so i crinkled my nose and hated him more
even when he tried to talk to me.
(have you ever hated someone that way?)
    when i was eleven
our teacher sat us next to each other in class.
we laughed at everything with our eyes
    and everyone else got annoyed
i'd lie in bed texting him until i fell asleep
    (his hair was still stupid.)
    when i was twelve,
    i was freefalling into destruction,
but he could still make me smile
even when it hurt my heart to do it.
my dad was dying and my skin was scarred,
but he told stupid jokes that made it go away.
(maybe i dotted the i in his name with a heart.)
    when i was thirteen,
we only had one class together,
but we sat together every single lesson
and drew on each others' hands
and the teacher thought we were dating.
i liked another guy for most of that year.
(i never told anyone that i liked the first boy, too.)
    when i was fourteen,
    i dated a tall guy who i didn't like
because i didn't want to admit that maybe i was in love with my best friend,
who made fun of my boyfriend mercilessly.
i dumped him, but i never told him why.
    i'm almost fifteen,
and my heart is still too big for my body.
these are all the things i'll never tell him.

    What's happened to Witty?
Has everyone grown up & left for good?
Witty was my escape where I was comfortable talking to people about my problems, now I can't.
The top quotes used to get 2000+ likes, but now the highest is around 350.
It really is awful though, to see such a beautiful place fall apart.
Can we just start again? Be a family. Be there for everyone.
Because honestly, with no one at my school to talk to, & no one here, I really have nobody. And that's a shame, because I need somebody.

    "EW! You like him?"
I fxcking hate when I like a guy, and someone says that to me. How rude can you be? I don’t care if he isn't the “cutest” boy ever, he doesn't have to be. The fact that you don’t even know him, and you still said that. Fxck you. I like him for him. You might not think he’s cute, but you don’t see him the way I do. I think he’s perfect the way he is.♥

Pale Blue DotThe following is a passage by Carl Sagan referring to a photograph of planet Earth made by Voyager 1 from a record distance, showing it against the vastness of space.Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader", every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.- Carl Sagan

how can I explain him? he is sunshine on a rainy day. he is singing along to bad songs with your head tilted back, singing until your throat hurts and your ears ring. he's poetry, he's music, he is saying things at the same time as someone because you know them that well. he is weird thumbs and silent, painful laughter, he is do-you-like-me-check-yes-or-no. he's a best friend, a brother, but he's also me blushing behind my clasped hands. he's the hearts drawn in sharpie on my palm, he's swearing in french and he speaks to me with his eyebrows because we both know what I'm thinking. we act like old ladies gossiping or five year olds kicking each others legs under the table. (those are bruises i don't mind having.) he is the hairs on my arms raising when he brushes past me, he's a hug on a terrible day, he's the way it feels to finally come home after a long time away. he's dust in the sunlight and playing the piano and he has stupid hair and little freckles on his neck that i want to kiss sometimes.
    he's everything.
