Chapter 10
I woke up and went into the bathroom to clean off the blood. I threw my blanket in the washer, hoping the blood would come out. When I went downstairs, Susan was sitting at the table. "Hey Dad, Susan." I smile. "So honey, when would you like to go out for lunch with Susan?" My dad asks me. "Well, what time is it?" I look around for the clock.
"It's 10:30." My dad says looking at his watch.
"Well, I'll go take a shower right now. And we can go out to lunch."
I run upstairs and head into the shower. When I get out its already 11. I leave my hair naturally straight. I grab on some shorts and a ruffled blue tank top. I put on some eyeliner, and put on white blue flip flops. I run downstairs. "Ready Susan?" I smile at her.
"Of course." She gets up.
My dad gives a hug and a peck on the cheek.
"I will see you later, Sav." My dad kisses my forehead.
My Dad heads out to work as Susan and I go to some coffeehouse for lunch.
We grab our seats, order food, and coffee.
"So, I would like to kind of talk about your Mother and Father. Is that alright?" Susan asks.
"Yes, of course." I smile.
"Well, Savannah. I'm gonna sound like some crazy kid but, I really like your Father, so much. And if someday he tells me he loves me, I know he could never love me as much as he loved your Mother. I really just don't want to feel like, like, I'm trying to replace your mother." Susan sputters out.
"Oh, Susan. My mom wants him to love again. I do too. Just don't act like you really are my Mom. Maybe a little. But, is there anything else you need to tell me?" I could see in her eyes, she was hiding something.
"I know I just met your Father, but I want to be pregnant. I want to have a my own kid too.."
"OH MY GOSH. NO WAYY! Have you talked to my Dad? I really want a little brother or sister!" Yay, finnallyyy.
Susan laughes. "Well, I haven't talked to your Dad, yet. I want to as soon as possible! I know I sound crazy, but."
"No. No, No! Not crazy! Yay! But I have another question?"
"What is it?" Susan asks.
"Well, my friends got tickets to California, I wanna go. But I think you and my Dad should go too." I exclaim.
"Well, then it's settled. We'll talk to him." Susan smiles.
The waiter brings our food and coffee over.

Me and Susan just got home and she is going to talk to my Dad.
Just then I get a text.
Maddddison!- hey girl, California is moved up. if you're going, two more days till we go! let me know girly. love you. ;)

Chapter 1
I woke up the next morning to the sounds of pots and pans in the kitchen.
"Morning sweetie" Mr. Ray said
"Good morning," I yawned
"Sleep good?"
"You could say that"
"Hey Briar, wanna go outside and take in some fresh air?" Michael question
In answer I walked towards the door.
"Well, I've been wanting to talk.." Michael said
Holy cow, I hope this means something good, "Okay"
"Well, my dad and everyone else can tell there's something going on between us, but even I'm not sure what it is. You're beautiful Briar. Everytime you laugh, I can't help but smile, I cling to your every word. I want to be the the man that's there for you, and I want you to be the girl I can hold tight. So, what do you say? Would you want to be my girlfriend?"
He leaned in, and I felt his soft lips moving slowly across mine. I managed to get my simple "yes" out between breaths, but then we heard his dad call us back into the house.
We took our time up to the log cabin on the lake, hand in hand. This is the moment I've been waiting for, the perfect moment. I'd finally gotten my summer romance, my him, was finally mine.
i know this isn't great, but it'll get better. - feedback please! i'm not going to continue the story unless i have some feedback. even if you think it's bad, tell me so i can think of a way to make it better! THANKS.

Me and Madison start to playfully grind on each other. As I turn around, I rub my butt on her, as we laugh. But all of our laughter stops when we look over, and in the corner, Lily is just staring at us. I just gulp and turn away.
"Did you see her. Sav?"
"Yes, and did I mention she knows about the California thing? How would she know?" I exclaimed.
"I have no idea, Cole never talked about it except for that one time when we saw you and Nate."
"Weird, well I'm gonna go see Nate. I had a great time." I playfully wink at Madison. She giggles as I turn around. Thank god, no sight of Lily. I walk up to Nate, "Hey, I'm gonna walk home. I love you. Have fun, but not too much." I give him a kiss as I walk out.
"Wait, that's a long walk. Use my car, and bring it back tomorrow." Cole says throwing me his keys. I nod my head as in saying thanks.
I go out and get into his car. I drive home which takes a little while.
When I walk in, I hear laughter. "Finally Savannah, you're home!"
"Hey, Dad." I look and see a girl. "I'm guessing your Susan."
She smiles widely. "Yes. Hello Savannah. Nice to meet you. I'm hoping we can go out for lunch or dinner sometime?"
I smile. "Of course, well, I'm heading up to bed." I turn around and run upstairs.
I still want to talk to Madison, so I log onto Messenger.
And yupp there she is. Maddyboo. And Mine is Savvypoo.
As I start typing, I get an IM from a unknown name.
Killerpoo- Hello Savannah, I'd just like to say, I've been watching you. I want you all to myself, and I will. I've already killed your Mother. Now what, just your Dad? Nate? They will be gone soon. Maybe even Maddypoo should die. I know you're thinking, if I kill them, why would you want to be close to me? Well, you will be. Cause I'm gonna lock you in my basement forever. You think I can't do sh*t. Well listen here Savvypoo, I'm a bad b*tch. I will get you Sweetdreams. Oh and like my username? Me too.
I was shaking so bad right now. If only I could trace this person. I can't tell the cops, or anyone. Or else everyone I love might be in danger.
What kind of sick person does this?
And thats when I take my razor blade, and it cuts through my skin.
Then I take a 3 pills, and lay down while my head and wrist get num, and blood is dripping on my comforter.

"I don't want to watch a movie, Sav. Cole text me, he wants to hang." Nate explains.
"Oh, well yeah. We can go, of course."
He smiles at me and grabs my hand as we walk out the door.
We meet halfway when we see Cole.
He runs up to us. "Hey, Madison will be coming soon."
I nod and smile.
"So, I've been meaning to ask you guys,, Sav I know you're sad, but I'm having a party, and I want you guys to be there."
"I feel guilty for being happy. I just don't feel like crying all the time. I miss my Mom so much." Tears form in my eyes as I say this.
"I understand if you don't want to go Savannah." Cole comforts.
"Nooo. Of course not, I'll go."
"Well people are already there. Let's head over."
We get into Cole's car that is parked down the road.
We drive to Cole's, cause it's like way out there.
"Is Lily coming?" I wonder."
"I didn't invite her. She is just weird. No offense." Cole says.
We all walk into his house, filled with smoke and beer.
Nate looks at me. "Yes, Nate. You can drink."
"I'm only drinking a few, Sav. I promise."
He walks off. I look around Cole's house and I find myself alone on his deck.
Its so quiet. I turn around and Lily is right behind me just staring. Hello, Savannah.
"Ha, Lily. Hey!" I stutter.
She just stares at me. "So you believe those rumors?"
"N-no, of course not Lily."
She turns around sharply, not facing me. "So, California?"
"Wh- what? How do you know about that?" We haven't even told anyone.
"Oh, uhm. I heard Cole say something about it."
"Oh, well. I'll catch you later." I say starting to walk away.
"Of course. Leaving me for your boyfriend again. I'm not a physco, Sav. I'm not."
"I know you're not, Lily." Even though she really is starting to freak me out.
I find Nate. "Hey babe." He says.
"How many beers?" I ask.
"This is still my first one." He exclaims.
"Alright. Well, I'm gonna find Madison."
I walk off, I slowly walk the deck, I see Lily talking to herself. Weird.
I walk in a bathroom, and there is Madison.
"Savvv!" She hugs me.
"Hey, girly." I smile at her.
"Are you drinking tonight?" She asks.
"Probably not. And I just saw Lily, she was acting awfully weird."
"I'm telling you shes a freak." Madison says looking at me.
"I know. Right after my Mom's murder. Do-do you think she knows something about it?" I start to cry.
Madison leans over and hugs me. "Lily may be a physco, but I don't think she'd kill your mom. I heard about the crush thing before your Mom died."
I shake my head in understandment.
"Well ready to dance with me?"
I smile at Madison, as I take her hand in a joking way.

January 3rd, 2012
Dear Diary,
My arm hurts so bad. Mom gave me a pain reliever 20 minutes ago so it should start to kick in soon. Then the thought came to me,
“What am I suppose to do today that I can write in my diary?”
But then something amazing happened. I’ll start from the beginning. At 8:00 A.M., I woke up and later Mason came over. Mom and dad let us have some time to talk without their supervision. They were in their room which is across the house. Mason was walked into my room by my mom and as she was leaving she shut the door. We talked for hours, but while we were talking I told him he could sign my cast with the silver shapie my parents had bought for me on the way home from the hospital. As he leaned in to sign the big purple cast I realized there was 2 inches of air between our faces. Then, it happened. Our eyes locked and I had my first real kiss. When we realized what had just happened we were just staring at each other with 2 inches still between our faces then he took a step back and didn’t say a word. I started a conversation and things weren’t as awkward as they were before. It was 2:00 and Mason had to leave because my mom wanted me to get more rest. I fell asleep and woke up around dinner time. I took another pain relief and ate some chicken nuggets, then back to bed I went.

January 2nd, 2012
Dear Diary,
I’m back, accept today I have a great boyfriend, Mason! But now I have to do what needs to be done. Today I went skydiving. Not the best idea. All I remembered was hearing a crack from my left arm and the rest was a blurr until I woke up in the hospital. Mason and my parents were there when I woke up. Mason brought me my favorite flowers, orange roses! My parents tried to comfort me and brought all of my favorite things. The doctor said I can leave in the morning. My mom and dad went in the hall to talk to the doctor and Mason had to leave so I was alone. When they came back in, they told me I had to get a cast but that I got to choose the color, so I chose purple. I was really hungry so dad went to the hospital’s cafeteria. He brought back my favorite, spaghetti and butter. I discovered how gross hospital food is and decided to not go sky diving ever again so I wouldn’t end up here. Now I understand why I didn’t in the first place.

Hi my name is Lillian, Lilly for short. I’m 13 and I live in Colorado. There has been talk that the world will end. I’m afraid that it might be true. I’ve decided to do something everyday that I want to do but have never done. I want to live my life to the fullest so, today I told my crush, Mason, that I’ve had a huge crush on him since the 5th grade. Once the words came out of my mouth I realized how stupid I was until he said, “I’m in love with a beautiful girl. She is smart, amazing, funny, cool, the cutest girl I’ve ever seen, and I could just go on forever.” Then I felt even stupider. “Oh thats okay. I’ll see you around.” I mumbled starting to tear up. “Wait,” he shouted as I was walking away. “Do you not get it?” “Get what?” I whispered just loud enough for him to hear. “Wow! Well this girl, I have known her as long as I’ve known you and,” “And what?” “Listen. What I was saying was I met her in 5th grade and, and, well, Lilly, I, I, was describing you. So, um, maybe you will consider um, going out with me?” I started laughing once Mason said that, because he was so nervous and his face turned bright red. He started walking away, when finally, I caught up to him. He said disappointedly, “I thought you said you had a big crush on me.” “Of course I do.” “Then why were you,” “What? Why was I laughing?” “Uh yeah.” “I’ve been trying to ask you out since 6th grade. And now that you have I can’t think of any response except I would do anything for you. I will honestly say I love you and I can’t change that. I will go out with until the world ends.”
