"I don't want to
watch a movie, Sav. Cole text me, he wants to
hang." Nate explains.
"Oh, well yeah. We can go, of
course."
He smiles at me and grabs my
hand as we walk out the door.
We meet halfway when we see Cole.
He runs up to us. "Hey, Madison will be
coming soon."
I nod and smile.
"So, I've been meaning to ask you
guys,, Sav I know you're sad, but I'm
having a party, and I want you guys
to be there."
"I feel guilty for being happy. I just
don't feel like crying all the time.
I miss my Mom so much." Tears form in
my eyes as I say this.
"I understand if you don't want to
go Savannah." Cole comforts.
"Nooo. Of course not, I'll
go."
"Well people are already there.
Let's head over."
We get into Cole's car that is
parked down the road.
We drive to Cole's, cause it's like
way out there.
"Is Lily coming?" I
wonder."
"I didn't invite her. She is
just weird. No offense." Cole says.
We all walk into his house, filled with smoke
and beer.
Nate looks at me. "Yes, Nate. You
can drink."
"I'm only drinking a few, Sav. I
promise."
He walks off. I look around Cole's house
and I find myself alone on his deck.
Its so quiet. I turn around and Lily is right
behind me just staring. Hello, Savannah.
"Ha, Lily. Hey!" I stutter.
She just stares at me. "So you believe
those rumors?"
"N-no, of course not Lily."
She turns around sharply, not facing me.
"So, California?"
"Wh- what? How do you know about
that?" We haven't even told
anyone.
"Oh, uhm. I heard Cole say something
about it."
"Oh, well. I'll catch you
later." I say starting to walk away.
"Of course. Leaving me for your
boyfriend again. I'm not a physco, Sav.
I'm not."
"I know you're not, Lily." Even
though she really is starting to freak me
out.
I find Nate. "Hey babe." He
says.
"How many beers?" I ask.
"This is still my first one." He
exclaims.
"Alright. Well, I'm gonna find
Madison."
I walk off, I slowly walk the deck, I see
Lily talking to herself. Weird.
I walk in a bathroom, and there is
Madison.
"Savvv!" She hugs me.
"Hey, girly." I smile at her.
"Are you drinking tonight?" She
asks.
"Probably not. And I just saw Lily, she
was acting awfully weird."
"I'm telling you shes a freak."
Madison says looking at me.
"I know. Right after my Mom's
murder. Do-do you think she knows something
about it?" I start to cry.
Madison leans over and hugs me. "Lily
may be a physco, but I don't think
she'd kill your mom. I heard about the
crush thing before your Mom died."
I shake my head in understandment.
"Well ready to dance with me?"
I smile at Madison, as I take her hand in a
joking way.
