A few ways to improve Witty
start posting "pretty" quotes again- I think the nice formats are what used to attract a lot of people to Witty. At least try to add a bit of color or something.
start sharing quotes again- If you don't wanna share on facebook or twitter, share somewhere more anonymous like tumblr or stumbleupon
stop reposting so many text posts- I know not everyone has a tumblr, but a lot of people do. Having recycled content take up half the front page isn't gonna attract a whole lot of new users. If you're gonna post something from tumblr, at least dress it up in some nice html.
if you can't have a civil discussion about your opinion, keep it to yourself- Rudeness and negativity just drive people away

Honestly, I do hold in a lot. When I'm upset, I really don't like to tell anyone, especially the person who made me that way. No matter how much anyone asks, the answer will always be, "I'm fine." Even if it's not true.
