    The never released fairytale
    Chapter 18 2/2
The next day I leave the house early and catch a bus to the mall that is nearby. Literally everyone stared at me, some even asked for an autograph.
How'd it make me popular by just being kidnapped? What is wrong with today's society?
When I arrive at the mall I try to ignore all the people and first go to a cash dispenser so I can check that said amount I would receive monthly.
The number I see makes me speechless and I stare at the screen for several seconds before turning with a wide grin. If I get that monthly, that'd be like heaven.
So I go in like every single store that seem to have decent clothes and I think an average American wouldn't spend that much in just a month. Probably not even earning it at work.
As I finish my clothing shopping, I go to Starbucks and the waitress looks at me like she'd see some mega star. She takes my order and doesn't even ask for my name.
As I sit there, sipping my Latté Macchiato, someone says to me, "You having no company?"
"Huh?", I turn and look at a model … or angel. He is about 6'4, tanned, and has light brown hair, pretty long lashes and turquoise eyes that people would kill for.
"Sorry, didn't wanna bother you. I'm just trying to make friends.", he takes a chair and sits down at my table.
"I can't remember I gave you the allowance to sit. And you mean adding one more person to your thousand friends?"
"About that, I took me the allowance. And no, it's adding the most beautiful girl in this city to my friend list."
"Ah. You know, I bet you say that to every girl. And since you took you the allowance of sitting here, I allow myself to classify you as a player searching for stupid girls. My brother is just like you."
He grins at me, then counters, "I do say that to every pretty girl. But I don't call every girl beautiful. And what if I was a player, but change for you?"
<"I can see it in your eyes that you're also beautiful in the inside. I do believe in love, but-"
"But you got heart broken and shut down?"
"Nah. I don't even know. Y'know, I do appreciate women and stuff, but actually, the girls that I'm usually dating are basically sl/ts wanting to look good with a guy on their side."
    "Tragic."
    "I'm Jeremy."
    "Asa."
"I'm sorry to ask you that, but are you that Asa?"
"Yup. You want an autograph or something?", I tease.
"Sorry, what? Why would I want an autograph? "Hey please sign, I think it's so awesome you almost died and disappeared for four years."", I smile. That probably is the reason.
"But people don't really ask you for autographs, right?"
"They are. Don't ask me why", he laughs out loud and leans back into his seat.
"Well, Jeremy, it was nice meeting you, but I gotta go and get a phone."
    "I'll go with you."
"What? To get my number so you don't risk losing someone you can bang?"
"No. To give you advice and, okay, to get your number, but not because I want to get you laid." I roll my eyes and say, "Whatever".
Jeremy insists to give me one of my bags and jokes about the amount I had bought.
"Hey, my closet holds nothing I could possibly wear.” he just gives me a killer smile and I think I might melt away. No wonder he is a player. Any girl would probably want to kiss him, or get laid. I still try to convince my brain I should turn lesbian, but Jeremy really isn't helping me with that.
"Do you have any budget?” he asks as we arrive at the store.
"Nop", the phones now are like way bigger than in 2009. And were all touchscreens called "Smart phones".
"Dude, I really don't care if you don't like big phones or not, this is like the best one at the moment so I'm suggesting you this.", he points at a phone that is highlighted and really big for real.
"Don't call me dude, seriously.", I look at the phone, its design os pretty modern, I guess, and it is so big I can barely clasp it with one hand.
"I say dude to everyone I don't plan on to use. So I'll keep calling you that. And if you think this is too big or something, there is a smaller one, which is good too. And it’s easier to handle. But all those computer portals say that the other one is the top phone at the moment…"
    "What do you have?"
"The one which is easier to handle."
We end up asking a shop man who says pretty much the same thing Jeremy said. I end up buying the bigger one, although it really was too big. The telecom provider I choose was the best one according to that web portal, too.
Jeremy gives me his phone number and as I tells Jeremy I would leave now he halts me and tells me he would give me a ride home. I don't even know why I say yes. I know him for not even a day after all.
"If you dare to make moves on me, I will knock you out."
"Yes, of course.", he stops at a Jeep and puts my begs into the trunk
When we got in, he asked, "You aren't going to High School, are you?"
"Hm … I'm probably graduating with you then."
    "How can you even graduate?"
    "Abitur."
"Sorry, but I don't know what that is…"
"German graduation. Was basically the only way I could graduate with my previous grade. And it gives me a prestige."
"Oh okay, I see. Um … where do you live", he asks as leaving the mall's parking lot and I give him my directions.
"Well Asa, then I'll get you for school tomorrow morning."
"Sure, whatever. Jeremy, you've moved here, right?"
"I did. From Pennsylvania. How'd you know? You're a psychic or something?"
"I'm pretty sure I would've seen you. I had a life before all this happened, y'know.", he half grins and pulls into our drive way.
    "Well then, until tomorrow."
"See ya.", I say as he gives me all my shopping bags.
I don't know why, but I really look forward to tomorrow.

    The never released fairytale
    Chapter 18 1/2
They let me go a month later and Finn, Benedict and Félicie went back to college.
Doctor Chandler decided I should write my Abitur in a real High School and we practically cured my phobia and I didn't have too many nightmares anymore, even without the pills.
I didn't tell the doctors, but my body had complications as I had my first menstruation after about four years.
Doctor Smith told me I should come again in a month so he could see how my injuries were dealing with the healing process and if he could make them look a little nicer.
"You have post", my mom tells me as we come in. Everything still looks pretty much the same and I am anxious seeing my room to be honest.
Mom gives me a bag full of letters and I look startled at her.
She laughs and says, "Just kidding.", then giving me three letters.
One from a very old and dear friend, one from a friend from Australia„ probably arrived just after I disappeared. On the last one there is no address, so I already have a fairly good idea from whom it came..
I open it, finding a credit card, a letter and a sheet of paper on which the card’s pin code and the number of my bank account is written.
The letter read in sloppy hand writing:
As promised, your own bank account. You will receive the amount that is currently on it every month. Don't think that is because we feel sorry for what we did, because we don't.
If you dare to tell anyone about us, it will have consequences, never forget that.
Be grateful for what we gave you.
And always keep in mind; we're always near you, no matter what.
I sniff. Grateful for giving me nightmares?!
    "From who is that?"
    "Um ... Adrianna."
    "What'd she write?"
"That she misses me. I'll go into my room now.” I basically run upstairs into a vacuumed room that looks like it'd wait for someone to live in it. Actually, it looks just like my room four years ago, just very cleaned. Looking into my closet, I decide I should definitely go into a mall or something like that. Fortunately Félicie gave me some of her old clothes that were even too big for me. The doctors told me I was almost too thin actually, so I should try to eat normal.
The phone rings just as I fall on my bed, but my mom answers it, so I don't bother going down. But my mom comes up to me instead.
"Asa, this is for you", she says, holding the phone on her shoulder.
"Oh?” she gives it to me and someone asks, "Asa Bennett?"
    "Yes?"
"You are very lucky. You can attend your Abitur the day after tomorrow and get a graduation like the students of your old grade."
    "Thank you very much."
"Please be there at 9 o'clock."
"I will.” I hang up and bring the phone back down.
"Guys, I can graduate!", I announce to my family happily.
I think they would've thrown a party if they were able to.

    Chapter Eightteen
    Hunter's P.O.V.
I walked into my bedroom, grabbing a British flag sweater, and a pair of black shorts before running back to the bathroom to take a shower. The water was warm when I got there as I brushed my teeth quickly before getting in, washing my hair so the dye finished setting. I got out, towel drying my hair quickly before putting a headband in to keep it out of my eyes. I smiled as I looked in the mirror, lining my eyes with a very light layer of mascara and eye liner before pulling my shorts on, along with my soft sweater. I left my ring on as a reminder to call Nik, and I was too lazy to take my rubbery bracelets off. I put on my hemp necklace, the rainbow beads at the front sitting low on my neck. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=75074229) I walked out of my room tucking my phone in the waist band of my shorts after I texted Nik, asking if he would call later. I went down the hallway, planning on grabbing my guitar and my laptop, before heading to the living room and watching movies with Ari for the rest of the day. That was, until I remembered I had to finish packing for tour, we leave tomorrow. I grabbed my suitcase out of the hall closet, before heading to my room. I opened the door to Niall laying on the floor, his phone held above his head as he looked at something. I set the large blue bag down, pulling out my phone, and taking a picture before Niall looked over at me.
"Did you just take a picture of me?" He laughed lightly walking over to me, his warm hands wrapping around my waist as I put my phone down on my desk.
"Maybe," I giggled as Niall kissed my nose gently. "You looked cute," I smiled snuggling into his chest. Niall laughed kissing the top of my head as I wrapped my arms gently around his neck, burying my head into his shoulder.
"Cuddly much?" Niall whispered, his warm breath washing over my face. I looked up from Niall's shoulder, smiling as his bright blue eyes met my dark brown ones.
"Play guitar with me?" I giggled, standing on my tiptoes to kiss Niall's cheek. He nodded his head gently kissing my forehead before his warm hands left my back.
"I'll be right back," He whispered leaving the room, I put my suitcase down on my bed, throwing my clothes in as I walked around the room trying to think of things I would need. I smiled as the door opened again, revealing Niall with his guitar.

    Stepping Out
    Chapter 18
Study hall was almost over. I had finished all of my homework and was ready for the end of the day. I was getting milkshakes with Greyson and I couldn't wait. I threw my things in my bag, and took out my phone. I told Greyson I couldn't wait for the milkshakes. The bell finally rang and I was the last one out of the classroom. I sit in the back so that happens almost every day.
"Well look who it is." A high, squeaky voice said. I spun around to find Alyson and her friends looking at me like I commited a felony.
"What do you want, Alyson?" I infused an annoyed tone in my voice. Her friends snarled at me.
"I think you know. You made Seth break up with me. He likes you now." She accused me in her stuck up way.
"Umm, keep dreaming. I have a boyfriend and he's way hotter than Seth. Plus, why would Seth even want to date me after what happened?" She giggled.
"How does someone like you have a boyfriend?"
"What do you mean 'someone like me'?" I looked at her and wondered.
"Isn't it obvious? You're a fat, ugly, annoying little pest. No one, not even a nerd, would ever like you. You know Greyson's just putting on an act right? He feels bad for you." She looked at me like she was telling the truth. What if she actually was?
"Shut up, Alyson." I tried to move away but they formed a circle around me.
"Whatever, but back to the original topic. It's all your fault! He likes you now!" She started yelling.
"No he doesn't! Maybe you were just a bad girlfriend!" I got defensive. Greyson swung around the corner and got me out of there.
"Are you okay?" Greyson asked me worried.
"Yea, she's just been relentless about the topic. She thinks I made Seth break up with her." I gave him the rundown.
"Did you tell her you were taken?" He made a sexy face.
I giggled, "No, but you made it pretty clear when you scooped me away." I broke into a smile and he stared at me.
"You look so beautiful right now." I looked at him and my smile grew even bigger.
"Thanks." I loved him. I felt so terrible about myself right now. I sucked my stomach in and hoped Greyson loved me the way I was like I did him. But did he really love me?

    Chapter 18
    *Dylans POV*
Jake and I walked out of Emily's room. We were silent until we were outside of the house, and then Jake flipped.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" he shouted as we walked along the street. His house and my house were on the same street so we usually ended up walking home together - much to our distaste.
"Me?! I'm not the reason Emily is crumpled up in pain on the floor, Jake!" I shouted back.
"I'm not talking about that," he said, glaring at me.
"Well, what are you talking about?" I spat. "Please enlighten me. I don't know what goes on in your head, but for some reason you have decided to hate me and I did nothing wrong! Nothing!"
"I'm talking about that kiss! You are going to hurt her," he said, his jaw clenched.
"Am I going to hurt your precious Emily?" I said sarcastically. "She's not yours, Jake! And why would I hurt her?"
"Because you're that kind of person," Jake said, calmer now.
"You don't know me," I said, smiling. "You didn't ever try to get to know me, so how would you know I'm 'that kind of person'?"
"I can tell," he said. "I don't want to get to know you, anyway. The only thing you are good for is ruining what I have - I mean had - with Emily!"
"What did you have with her?!" I shouted. "Nothing! Ever! You never had anything!"
"She was my best friend!" he shouted.
"No," I corrected. "Your best friend was Aidan, and if I ever get my hands on him he's going t-"
"I don't care about Aidan!" he interrupted. "He's an a$$h0/e, I know. I care about Emily and what's good for her."
"So, what, in your world you and Emily will ride off into the sunset on a white horse? Hate to break it to you, but she doesn't love you!" I shouted.
"If she doesn't love me, then why is she crying up in her room because I disappeared in her dream?" he replied. When I didn't reply, a smug smile appeared on his face.
"What is all that about?" I asked, changing the topic.
    "I don't know," he lied.
    "Just tell me," I said.
"If she chose someone other than me, I won't be able to stay around her. It would be impossible," he said after a few moments silence. I could tell that he only told me half of the truth, but I didn't bother wondering what the rest of the story was. How bad could it be? Looking back on it, that was a very bad assumption.
The best reply I could think of - I wasn't good with the mushy stuff - was, "Oh."
    Jake sighed.
    "Eh, Dylan?" he muttered.
"Yeah?" I said, wishing I could leave incase there was anymore deap and meanigful talk in this conversation - I hated it!
"Look, I know we don't like eachother-"
"No," I corrected. "You don't like me. I think you're okay."
He grimaced. "That's more than I deserve - I've been a real d/cK to you. I can't help it, though. It's just that...Emily likes you, alot, and I knew that the first time she told me about you. I decided before I even met you that I hated you. And then you're just so hard to hate, so I really had to put a lot of effort in. I might have gone a bit over the top. Sorry."
"Don't worry about it," I said. He half-smiled at that, and I was at my house by then.
"See ya," he muttered, frowning and looking down as we quickened his pace.
    "Bye," I said.
So much for a bit of closure, I thought. You'd think he has the weight of the world on his shoulders! His life ain't so bad.
    I know better now...
